mophie juice pack for Samsung Galaxy S5 (3,000mAh) - White

My Galaxy S5 has been going thru issues of not charging (used three different chargers in two different locations) and it'll continue to Die as it charges which led to me think i need a new phone until my brother recommended this Mophie to me. Immediately you can tell it males your phone quite heavier and larger in size but the fact that my phone is actually charging properly and not dying at the quick rate that is was makes me extreamly happy this $20 purchase saved me from making a $700+ one for a new phone. A regular charge of the Mophie when im under 20% will bring up up to maybe 80% or so within the hour which isn't bad. Kinda takes twice as long to charge as your phone would but the power is being divided so its expected.My BIGGEST ISSUE with this is for someone who likes to play music without an external device this Mophie case muffles your phones Speaker by 50% and i tend to hate having to remove it completely just to listen to music or watch youtube...but in a Quite environment like right before bed i guess its fine...

Works very well but it's kind of bulky. Overall, I like the product.

I have two of these and I have to speak highly of them. The mophie juice pack is high quality for any phone. You simply flip the switch and you are charging your phone in your pocket.Pros- Ease of use, simply slip your phone in the case and you're done. You can charge the phone and case at the same time simply by plugging it in while the phone is inside it.Cons- The white case did crack when dropped but is still holding up quite well. The black case I ordered held up much better with drops.All in all this is a great case. I now only charge my phone at night instead of charging it up to 3 times a day.

This battery pack leaves me a bit underwhelmed. It does keep the phone at a full charge for most of the day, which is great. However, the material it is made out of is slick. I thought it would have some sort of rubber texture on it like the black version. Furthermore, if you drop this case, even from just a foot off the ground, it will at least scuff pretty bad, if not break. Also, for this particular one I need to warn you about the price: I bought this for 29.99, and this price fluctuates immensely. For example, as I'm writing this, this case is 39.99, and on PrimeDay it was 79.99 (pretty sketchy). Just wanted to warn you, because if I had bought this phone case for 80 dollars, it would definitely change how I was reviewing it. for 30 though... 3 stars.Update- 2 stars. One star for each month it worked. It completely stopped working. I didn't drop it or damage it, it just stopped.

I purchased this to help with the battery drain issues that seem to get worse over time with the Samsung S5. While it's nice to be able to get through the whole day without worrying about my phone dying the case is not great for those who drop their phones often. I try to be careful, but as much as I try I guess I'm clumsy and drop it more than I should. :) I cracked the bottom corner of this case the first week I had it, and now a month later I have cracked the other corner as well. To give it credit the case is still functional and the cracks aren't even very noticeable, but I'm not sure how long it's going to hold together. Given that the price of this is down under $40 I'm not too grumpy (my husband paid $100 for his iPhone Mophie). I'd recommend this case if you're able to be careful, otherwise you'll be replacing it often.Knocked off two stars for how quickly it cracked, how large and bulky it makes an otherwise lightweight/slim phone and for the muffled sound on the speakers.Update: I purchased this 11/21, cracked it within the week and then it broke completely about a week ago (end of december). It *was* still functional even though the case broke but I've since replaced it with a wallet case that seems to be better for me personally. Just keep in mind that this case will not hold up if you tend to drop it often like I do.

The Mophie, when it is fully charged, can take my phone from 20% all the way up to 100%. Good right? However, it is heavy so schlepping it in a crossover bag while travelling all over Europe is very uncomfortable because it adds extra weight to the bag making it very heavy. So that's bad. And now for the tragic. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. Ok so the phone is 4 years old and maybe it's not operating optimally but at home I had no problems. I had been using the Mophie as a case for about 5 days pretravel when on my second night in Europe I decided to charge the Mophie overnight. It was on my phone as it is the case so I simultaneously charged my phone. The next day my phone would not turn on. I removed and replaced the battery several times before the phone would start. I am convinced that using the Mophie as a case and charging the Mophie and my phone together (leaving them to charge overnight) negatively affected my phone. It was awful because it happened on the second day of a 17 day trip to Europe. (Imagine being without your phone.) The good news is that since I stopped using the Mophie, the phone seems to be functioning. I charge the Mophie separately and ONLY attach it to the phone in case of emergency like when the phone hits 20%. Even then I only use the Mophi to get the phone back up to about 55-60%. I recommend that you carry it as a recharger and ONLY attach your phone when you need to recharge the phone then remove it once your phone is charged. UPDATE: it is now day eleven of my trip. I stopped using the Mophie except in an emergency and my phone seems to be fine. I have downgraded my rating to one star because I think the Mophie was killing my phone.

The units fit the phone like a glove. The ones I purchased were from an earlier model and needed to be reset. Just call or email Forever deals, or Morphie for the way to handle the reset, or actually, fully charge the unit, Hold the button on the back of the unit while it is still attached to its power cable for 30 seconds. Next unplug the unit and do the same, with pushing in the button for an additional 30 seconds. This should reset the unit for you . ALWAYS LET It DISCHARGE completely to the limit prior to re-charging.This is a great tip with your phone as well! GREAT Product at an excellent price!

all the mophie juice pack cases are amazing products!! Worth the money keeps phone going for more then 24 hours perfect for camping or outdoor adventures!!

Felt like I wasted my money on this product.number one it came with a s scratches and I only just received it on Friday.it won't charge my samsung galaxy s5 nor will it charge though I Left it in overnight. Returning it for a full refund I hope or brand new that will work this time
