I would have given this 5 stars but it's not tight enough on my leg so that I can walk with it. It falls down to the ground. Maybe I'm not using int correctly. I ordered this because I have osteoarthritis in my legs and back. I would wake up in pain in my knee because of the way that I slept. I noticed that it only did it night. I could also not fully extend my leg. This went on for about 3 weeks. When I researched knee immobilizers because the pain was in the back of the knee, I decided to get it. I can feel the muscles getting better almost immediately. I only woke up one time the first night I used it and did not wake up because of pain the second night. This is as a cast with the flexibility to take it off as needed. My mobility is coming back. I wish I could walk with in the daytime so that it could get better even faster. Love it.

As stated it is three piece(main back segment with stabilizer bars that run along the center, and 2 pieces that velcro to each side of the main segment). The 2 side pieces have the stabilizer bars fixed in them and then have the Velcro bands that go across the front of your leg.I'm 6'2" 220# and I adjusted it to fit me. That said my legs are lean and I would use a standard Large size immobilizer. So maybe if you have larger legs this product wont work for you. I have had 2 knee surgeries before and probably 5+/- im mobilizers. This immobilizer was very comfortable and seems very sturdy, I haven't had any issues with the product, it's appearance or quality.

This was exactly what I was looking for to keep my leg straight, but at night I call it a torture device because its really uncomfortable while tossing and turning in bed and my knee is always really swollen from arthritis so it digs into the skin on the top & bottom of my knee. Despite that its tolerable during the rest of the time and gets the job done.

We're using this for my 10 year old son who needs his legs stretched at night and after a very short period of time it's showing significant wear on the inside even though he's not walking with it. He's also had marks on his ankles from its use. I do wish I'd gotten the 14 inch size, but even still, there's very little padding on the ends and the stays dig into the skin pretty severely. The velcro is strong and the straps are certainly long enough for him (and for me too). This is fine for short term use, but if you need a knee brace for a longer period of time, I would look for something else.

I'm giving the product 2 stars for the quality and efficient shipment and condition - however, I was really disappointed in the size; particularly if this would be used by a patient with swelling. My hospital immobilizer just got gross and a bit warped after 2 weeks and after reading these reviews I ordered this one, but it barely fastened. I'm not super skinny but I'm not obese by any means - I'm a 5'7" woman (just had a knee replacement) with average/muscular legs - and like I said, it BARELY fastened. My knee isn't even insanely swollen. I'd recommend this product for men and women that have pretty thin legs.

My son has cerebral palsy, and in order to combat his ever-tightening hamstrings, needs to wear knee immobilizers at night. He recently outgrew his custom immobilizers, and needed something until we can get new ones made. All of the medical supply places had these for $75+, so I checked Amazon. I am very pleased with this, the quality is equal or better than the other over-the-counter ones. It obviously will not compare to a custom made one from the doctor, but I would recommend these over the ones at the Medical Supply shops.

This product was well packaged and seemed to be well made with reinforced edges. However, it is very small and did not fit the circumference of my leg, therefore it was returned.

I have tried 5 different braces since my surgery and I found this one to be the most comfortable. Most of the ones I tried did not keep my knee immobile.
