Canon LP1014 Soft Lens Pouch

perfect for my EF 85mm f/1.8. some people seem confused about lens hoods. these pouches are designed to fit the intended lens with the hood put on in reverse. buy any L lens and these come with it. all of my L lenses fit in the pouch with hood on in reverse, no matter how large, perfectly.

Just as I expected. All of these pouches from canon are expensive. I'm sure you can find 3rd party ones cheaper but these are good and do a good job of protecting the lenses when you put them in day packs etc. I even got a large one (that fits a 24L TS-E) that I put my Canon 5D Mk III in to keep it from getting banged up.

Don't know if this is a 'discontinued product' but was unable to source anywhere in the UK. Amazon (UK) accepted my order, initially, but then decided they were unable to fulfil. Much to my surprise, but pleasingly, further Google searching revealed availability in USA. Even with shipping, currency conversion, & import duty cost was only marginally greater than (expected, if available) UK price and delivery was still achieved within a few days.

Does a great job protecting lens without adding a lot of bulk. I like it better than my foam pouches especially when I'm using a camera bag

The Canon LP1014 Soft Lens Pouch is a high quality lens bag that offers ample room for a variety of prime and smaller zoom lenses. I purchased it for my EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens. Candidly, the bag's too big for this small lens, but the extra room allows me to throw in the tulip hood, too. The construction and materials are top quality. There are cheaper lens pouches available, but knowing this is a Canon product gives you peace-of-mind and good looks!

This pouch is a Godsend so I bought 2. I use them for my EFS 60-mm and EFS 85-mm Lenses. The base feels firm so the lens sitting inside is protected and won't go anywhere and is made out of a strong naugahide. The pouch itself is thick felt and the rope pulls are made of heavy nylon twine that feels silky in your hand. The whole pouch is well built to protect but can be handled roughly and still protect the contents, your precious lenses.

it is a great way to have lenses in perfect condition without scratches.
