Should i get this for my 7th grader?

Great buy for a 7th grader.. This is a great calculator as a student is getting ready to start pre-algebra and algebra subjects. For most students those are subjects taught in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, so this will be a good calculator to use currently and grow with.

Is this calculator good for a 10th grader taking algebra 2 ap?

If i recall algebra 2....i think it will perform the trignometry aspect perfectly. Most of it is writing in variables (x and ys)

can it do square roots?
