Over the years I’ve used these boxes to connect the outside lights in my garden and drive and they work very well as long as the yellow gasket is fitted properly if just purchased another four to use them in place of four older type boxes that were fitted before I moved to this house so I’m swopping them out for these ones that have proved themselves I’d definitely recommend these boxes for using outside.

It's a neat box with a 2.5mm connector block that will fit 1mm to 1.5mm cables. Enough room to have a decent tail also. Screwdriver is no use for the screws supplied for the cover and definitely no use for the connector block. A nice jester maybe. It works and I would buy it again.

This is a good product but the box I received had only 2 of the rubber bungs (called accessories in the picture) suitable for 4-8mm cables. There were 9 bungs in total as advertised, but 3 were suitable for cables 10 - 14mm, 4 were suitable for 8-12 mm and only 2 for 4-8mm! i.e. one of the wrong size bungs had been put in and 'sods' law the missing one was the size I needed (my cables are 6mm). Amazon were excellent and because they couldn't just send me a small bung refunded my money and so I ordered a second box which has just arrived and has exactly the same 'problem' … only two bungs for the cables I am using! Amazon, Please let the company know so that other people aren't disappointed. Because I now have the two boxes with a total of 4 right sized bungs for my use, I can now manage to make up one waterproof box from the two. Geoff

Bought this to join three cables in my garden (two lights to a main power cable). The box itself is of good quality plastic and very sturdy. The box comes with a silicon type seal to cover the main opening. This seal fits very well and I'm sure makes a good seal once screwed down.The selection of yellow seals to waterproof the entry points for the wires are also good quality. As you tighten the entry points, these seals close around the wires really well and produce a really good seal once they are fully tightened up.There's a small standard connection block inside the box to allow you to join the wires together. I had no trouble connecting all three wires together in it.All in all a very good product, the price is reasonable for a good quality fitting that should last outside for a long time.The

A well-made box. Grommets, glands, and even a small screwdriver came with the package. It was for exterior use, and it looks well designed and built to keep rainwater out.It took a very long time to arrive. If you are in a hurry to do a job, go elsewhere. I didn't use the box in the end as it turned out to be too small for the task; that's my fault.

I was initially impressed with this product, it seemed perfect for the job.It came with three sizes of grommet, unfortunately none were of the correct size for the power cables I had to use. Some slight adjustment was required. Fortunately I had a heat gun and some shrink wrap.These boxes are super fiddly to work with, and the block is too small in relation to the casing size. Would benefit from some minor design changes.Disappointed at the quality of the fixing - see photo. (it was not exposed to sunlight, nor was it exposed to cold or any other extreme conditions) This lasted less than a month before detaching itself. If I were to attempt to fix this, I'd have to disconnect everything to replace the damaged component. Not ideal.

A little bit fiddly but with patience a reasonable weatherproof connection box. NB I have it installed in a shed which gets damp but not wet so I am not really using the weatherproof capabilities.
