Line of Duty - Series 1-5

Brilliant series wonderful acting.

This is an amazing series, and each run just gets stronger. The cast are perfect, and the writing is 1st class.However, I am getting really annoyed with Acorn Media //BBC, and their DVD only releases of major series like Line of Duty. This series was shot and transmitted in high definition, so why should we have to put up with a standard definition only release? Acorn and the BBC have released far less prestigious productions on Bluray, and even 4K, so why the stupid decision to give one of their most popular series this treatment?What makes it even more unacceptable is that Germany gets high definition Bluray releases of this series, a series that we pay for through our licence fees, and that is produced by World Productions, a company owned by ITV - another British company!My guess is that if enough buyers boycotted these inexcusable DVD only releases, they would be forced to join the rest of us in the 21st century, and issue a proper HD product.And they wonder why people download HD copies illegally. Well DOOOH! - there's your answer!

Line of Duty is one of the best crime series on TV - and well worth a revisit. We are running through these hard-hitting episodes before the new series #6 starts on BBC1 shortly.Due to living abroad, we had previously never seen series #1. So, this boxset also gave us some useful background on the characters.The boxset comprises 10 DVDs in total, in 3 sleeved boxes. Picture and sound quality are excellent.

Somehow my husband and I missed this series when shown on the TV. Heard lots of good comment so made purchase.I can well recommend this box set, although you will still have to series six.Well acted, gripping story line. Keeps you wondering. - brilliant.

I don't normally like police stories, but this series transcended the norm of the genre and was well worth a second binge watch

Excellent series. Never watched this first time round but heard good reviews. Purchased during lockdown. Got absolutely hooked on it. Lots of twists and turns and dubious cops. You don't know who to believe. There is another series being produced now so will be ready for it. Can't wait.

Always liked Line of Duty canWatch it over and over

The episodes make you want to watch the next, I'm not sure if Detective Sergeants would speak to Superintendents like they do in these films even though the producers sought advice from the police first, good story lines and a very enjoyable 5 series - I hope the rumour of a sixth series is true

Avevo visto le prime due stagioni in italiano. In inglese richiedono un sforzo maggiore perché sono piene di acronimi ma anche di colpi di scena, quindi non sai mai come andrà . Uno spaccato di vita della polizia inglese nel bene e nel male. É molto diretto, anche i dialoghi sono serrati. Mi piace perché sembra di starci proprio dentro e in ogni caso dietro i regolamenti non si perde mai di vista l’umanità dei singoli personaggi. Consigliato

Line of Duty: Super Series. Consignment arrived one day sooner than expected, so I was able to start watching it. I have already watched all 5 seasons.

Completely absorbing and addictive, looking forward to seeing season 6
