Plano Quality A+
I ordered this a series 2.0 Quick Top 3600 from Amazon on Sunday and received it on Tuesday, was not expecting it until Wednesday so kudos to Amazon for fast shipping even during this Corona virus pandemic. Also I got this brand new bag for $30 less than everywhere on the net. At this price I was skeptical that it was the 2.0 version, thought it might be a misprint but to my surprise it is the latest version, new with tags! I have been toting around the old hard plastic Woodstream Sportfisher 52 since my college days. Has a hamdle on top and opens with the 2 tier expanding trays. Its just been too hard carrying it into the back woods to hidden ponds and creeks so I decided to get a soft fishing bag. I did some searches on the net for the best bag and saw a lot of great reviews for this one. Its about the size I was looking for and has the nice hard bottom and top with quick access. Its basically the same as my hard box with the ease of a carrying strap. Its good looking and It seems to be sturdy and made of good quality materials. It is made in China and does not have any strong plastic smell as others have commented about the previous version. All my gear fits in with plenty of extra room, zippers work well and pockets are roomy. It weighs about 4 pounds 10 ounces empty. Overall I am happy with the deal I got, Amazon shipping and the comfort and quality of this bag from Plano. I recommend it.

The little bag that could
The build quality and materials are mostly great. My only concern might be the leather like handle that snaps together and how that will hold up. The design works for the most part with the exception being the molle on the front pocket, the pocket could be taller and another row of molle strapping would enhance the usefulness. The zippers are pretty heavy duty and seem like they will not get buggered up with a bit of sand / grit. The stitching is well done and looks ample. The bag comes with 4, 3600 series "Plano" boxes standing vertically inside. I found a 5th standard depth 3600 box fits just right, laid out horizontally on top of the 4 with the lid closing snugly. The shoulder strap and connectors seem sturdy enough. In use the shoulder straps can bear down on the lid latches, mine have un latched a couple of times. I rigged some 1/8th inch bungie cord in a "X" pattern over the top with a buckle in the middle... problem solved.Overall it carries a lot of equipment and seems like it will hold up for quite a while. Better latching lids and a more confidence inspiring carry handle would make this a solid A+, but I'm going to call it an A with those two factors in mind. Regardless of the grade given it's a great value for the current price (under $60.00) and worth looking at.

I've bought a lot of Plano product and like it, this one was a HUGE mistake!
I own several Plano tackle boxes and other Plano products, it's a trusted brand. This tackle bag is as useful as a throw out grocery bag, unfortunately it was $52 and I missed the return window. What a waste of money! If you look at the photos, carrying the tackle bag by the handle doesn't work well! There's no support in the bag and as soon as you add any weight (i.e. add tackle), it's like a cheap plastic bag. To open it there are two snaps that are a huge pain to snap close when ever you want to use the handle. Snaps require a firm backing to snap close, it's a bag, there's not a firm backing. Completely worthless!!!!If Plano is listening, they need a redesign by someone who fishes. I'm an engineer and understand crappy product design. Most every fisherman uses the handle a lot, only occasionally the shoulder strap. You use the handle when you're moving it around, putting in and out of the car or boat, when you're moving it around the house or garage before your fishing outing, when you're walking up the lake or dock, etc. The handle should be tied into the sides of the bag. The top that closes should be much easier to use, it a pain. This could be done by using "push in" buckles / clasps, these are very fast and sturdy. The front of the flap could use Velcro. Another option is to add a stiffener to the top. There are so many ways this bag could have been designed better! Shame on you Plano!!!!If you want something equivalent, buy the Plano (4) 3650 trays (great trays) and use a throw out grocery sack, it would be much cheaper and about the same effect.Very disappointed, what a waste of $52!

Cheaply Made Product, Damaged on Arrival
During the product's first use, before we even go out of the car to fish, I noticed that the end of the zipper track on the left side had a tear. This ended up causing one of the zippers to come off the track completely, so that I couldn't close the bag all the way. I was already at the fishing location, so I decided to still take it out for the afternoon and I planned to contact customer service the next morning. While I was out, the entire time, the dividers in the tackle boxes kept coming loose, causing small things like hooks to move around in the boxes. The dividers kept coming loose completely. Then, as if nothing else could go wrong during this trip, I noticed that one of the black clasps to a tackle box was missing. The more I opened and closed the boxes, the looser the clasps became, and a few others fell off as well. Also the snap buttons are nearly impossible to open without using full force.I called customer service (Amazon directed me to call Plano), and someone who clearly did not care about my experience told me that (understandably) because of Covid-19, no one was at the actual warehouse, that I could probably keep it for a few months and then call them again and see if they would offer a replacement then. I understand Covid has disorganized a lot of businesses, and I am sympathetic, but I don't want to risk keeping this $70 bag that was damaged on arrival for a "few months" and then them not give me a replacement.I'm just returning the bag and purchasing another brand.Keep in mind also that this bag is HUGE!! The photo does not represent how large this bag actually is. It is MASSIVE!! Lots of storage space as well, but like I said, the snap buttons are impossible to open so I've been avoiding using those (shouldn't have to do that but oh well), and the zipper doesn't function.

Buena maleta.

looks good, great zippers
Great looking bag, lots of room. I just got it for work didn't even know it was meant for fishing. Came with a bunch of tackle boxes which can also be used to organize whatever you might want to put in your bag. Zippers are super smooth, one of my biggest pet peeves in cheap bags/clothing are bad zippers that are prone to always getting caught, these are big and smooth. You guys should make more colours I'd probably get another.
