Chewy Mint Candy Roll, Rainbow, 14 Pieces Per Roll, 15 Count Pack

A LONG time ago, Mentos had an ingredient (Wheat glucose, I think?) which made them a no-no for me because I am strictly gluten free. When my spouse bought a pack of these at Denver International, I read the label and saw NO gluten-containing ingredients. I immediately went to the same gift shop and bought two rolls of different flavors because neither showed any gluten content, and as soon as we got home, I binge-spent and three different varieties. Don't care about the value for the money, but they didn't break the bank at all. VERY chewy, just ... yum!

They taste great though the UK version of the rainbow is better (a few diff flavors are subbed). The only flavor we don’t like is the melon. It’s not terrible, but it’s the usual fake melon flavor none of us are big fans of. Plus you only get two of those per roll (each roll has 2 of each flavor in the order specified by the pic on the roll wrapping), so it’s fine. Now when ppl ask me if I tasted the rainbow, I can tell them yes, and they’ll think I’m referring to Skittles, but I’m not. Though now they I think about it, I wonder what it would taste like to mix these and Skittles. I may have to try that.

I absolutely love these Mentos Rainbow fruit rolls. Growing up, I used to eat the strawberry Mentos all the time, especially during the summer trips to the city pool, so these bring back the best childhood memories for me. The fruity mix in this pack is a huge plus — every roll is packed with a variety of flavors that are all delicious. I especially love that they added pineapple to the rainbow lineup. It’s the perfect tropical twist and one of my new favorites. Getting a bulk pack of 15 rolls is great because I can stash them everywhere—my car, my purse, you name it! I like that I can share them with my grandkids or the cute little kids at my church, if their parents approve, of course! They’re soft, chewy, and full of bold, juicy flavors, just like I remember (only even better now with more variety). If you’re a fan of fruity candy or just want a little nostalgia in a bite, these are perfect. They’re pure happiness in a tiny chewy bite.

So good but they’re addictive. I have to stop buying them for a while.

They tasted old! Some of the flavors that were supposed to be fruit flavor had strong peppermint flavor! Candies were broken in some cases. Should have been sold as "factory rejected poor quality"!

This is what I crave when I’m feeling some sugar. It’s not over-the-top sweet and there’s enough variety in the flavors that you don’t get bored. There was something said of a chemical component to one or some of the different fruit flavors but I personally can’t detect anything other than a good taste. Also said was the distinction couldn’t be made for which fruit correlated with which color. Now, I probably wouldn’t be able to pinpoint the flavors either in a blind taste test but I’m not bothered by that in the slightest. I’m not taking it too seriously though.
