Bosjett Premium Golden-plated Mini Displayport
Needed this item for school and class. I feel great that it has so many display ports. I will be well prepared when connecting my computer to whatever system the school is using. Great price. This was important when I have to purchase books for school and they are costly. There was quite a few to pick from. This was compact, not bulky and the price was reasonable.

Glitchy Glitchy Glitchy
Glitchy, did not work properly. Tried it out for my two Asus monitors and the screen connected to it kept blinking on and off at times. Not worth the price, not worth the time. I went ahead and returned it for a refund and decided to buy Cable Matters® Mini DisplayPort (Thunderbolt™ Port Compatible) to HDMI/DVI/VGA Male to Female 3-in-1 Adapter in Black, which had it's price reduced at the time so they were only 4 dollars apart in price at the time of my purchase.Just go for the Cable Matters Mini DisplayPort and ignore this turd.CUSTOMER SERVICEAs always Amazon costumer service did not disappoint. Very helpful. No hassles. No fuss, no muss.

Be wary that Thunderbolt is not the same across all devices.
This said it had a "thunderbolt" connection, but it does not fit my Dell. I am not being overly harsh to the vendor on this because I have found that "thunderbolt" is subjective and has versions. If you need this for a Dell, do not get this. If needed for something else, make sure it is what you need.

Doesn't always work with HDMI.
The first time I used this device it didn't work; I did everything I could think of to fix it. Nothing worked. I needed this for a presentation, HDMI to a projector, but no joy. I assumed I received a defective device. I initiated a return but figured I'd give it another chance. I plugged in a DVI cable and walla it worked. I thought Holly Cow; I tried a VGA cable to a monitor and it worked. HDMI to the same monitor and nothing. I then tried the HDMI to a few of my TV's; worked on all but 1.This is a good idea and a great thing; if it works. I wouldn't however count on this in a pinch.I'm holding on to this given its utility and purchasing a USB to HDMI adapter to make sure I'm prepared for this not working again.

I might have been hoping for too (two? <tic>) much… good for one external monitor at a time though
computer:macbook air 11" mid 2011i was hoping i could use the hdmi and vga at the same time, to get two monitors hooked up to my mac.seems i can use only one external monitor art a time, plus my macbook air monitor.construction quality seems good. i plan to keep it in my road bag, because now one adaptor lets me connect to either vga or hdmi or dvi (analog) displays, one at a time. my other adaptor is vga only, so this is a step up in functionality.i think i am going to try the Belkin Thunderbolt 2 Express HD Dock with 1-Meter Thunderbolt Data Transfer Cable, Mac and PC Compatible and see if i can get two monitors working at the same time with it.feel free to post back any other suggestions.thanks!

Great Solution
I hated having multiple connectors for different displays. I was a little weary of getting this cable as it seemed too good to be true, but worry not. This cable works and saves you from carrying a bunch of connectors. I have had it for over a year and use it all the time for different presentations or for a second monitor and it has never failed me. It's a great solution.

Does exactly what it says.
Works great for me! I work in an industry where I need to interface with many different kinds of systems and this covers a lot of the connectivity! As stated in the description it only supports single link resolution and only one display format at a time, which is all I could expect out of it!

Does not transmit Audio as advertised
Does not transmit audio as advertised. DVI does not work with my adapter. If you look closely at the picture.... the connector is a DVI-D connector. This does not allow for audio. DVI-I does, which is what I have/need. Correct me if I'm wrong here. I also used the HDMI with my TV and it also did not transmit audio. Now that I think about it... I will be returning this item.
