Robust coffee
I ordered this coffee to try as I usually drink Oro and thought I would give this a try. It is a very robust coffee with a rich flavor. It is dark in appearance and actually will darken a light color coffee cup.... my Oro does the same thing Lol.The packages are individual coffee pot servings. I have a refill pod, so this works great and keeps small batches of coffee fresher. I would guess each packet of coffee would be good for a 8 to 10 cup coffee pot depending on how strong you like your coffee.I will be buying again when I run out. It is a bit more expensive, but I do like a robust coffee. I you like your coffee robust, I would recommend you trying this one.

The best coffee in the world!
The coffee I tasted had a strong, velvety aroma with dominant notes of dark chocolate and ripe orange. The coffee had a balanced flavor in the cup, with moderate bitterness and a smooth finish. The crema was dense and ivory-colored, with a uniform consistency.Overall, the quality of the coffee was high, with a well-balanced cup and complex flavors.

Comes in individual packets packed in a ziplock bag not original package as displayed.
Didn't care for the way this was NOT in the original packaging. There was a store halfway across town which sold the same product, but I don't go by there so often and bought it online at a higher price just to get it sooner. It is DEFINITELY DARK coffee. A bit thick as well. Like used motor oil.Not too bad. I may still go buy a bag at my local grocer to see if it wasfresher since I had NO IDEA how old this coffee was since it was deliveredin a ziplock bag.Just tried it because I had some Don Pablos Pride which is Guatemalan coffee,so wanted to try some other regional brands to see if they were similar or not. Can't recommend this to most coffee drinkers except as something different to try.

Sentimental about this coffee
This was the best deal for Cafe El Indio on the internet.I have some sentimental attachment to this coffee because it was the first I ever drank other than Foldgers. This company shipped fast and the coffee was fresh and in date. What more could you ask?

Individual packets for fresh coffee every day
I love the individual packets. Normally by the time I get to the bottom of a bag of coffee a couple of weeks have passed and it has been steadily losing flavor due to exposure to air. But with the individual packets you always get freshly-opened coffee.Be aware that this is super dark coffee: your latte or cappuccino will remain dark!No acidity but nice richness and flavor, and unlike some dark roasts (Starbucks Italian Roast, Cafe Bustelo) there is no bitter aftertaste.EDIT: I just noticed the Nutritional Information: this coffee already has (cane) sugar added: about 3 teaspoons per packet, or 45 cal. Depending on how you like your coffee that might be a plus or a minus.

Real Honduran coffee!
I lived in Honduras for a little over a year and tried tons of coffee while I was there. I fell in love with two of the coffee staples of the grocery and this was one of them. It is a very dark and rich coffee not for the faint of heart. I’m so happy that I was able to order a couple bags because I’ve been running low on the bags I brought back with me. This coffee is REAL COFFEE and packs a punch, not that light roast Starbucks stuff. The best way to brew this and unlock it’s deep flavor is with a French press or over the stove with a strainer. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try coffee from the region.
