Aquaneat LED Aquarium Light Full Spectrum Fish Tank Light 12" 20" 24" 30“ 36" 48" Multi-Color Fresh Water Light

I was very excited to get a full spectrum light for my freshwater 20 gal long. It is a very good light BUT it is not a freshwater light, it is, in fact a saltwater light. The amount of blue in it + the mint green is a salt water light. You would need less blue and more green for it to be a freshwater one. Good light for salt, sadly the wrong one for me. Shame for misrepresenting the product.

It works but I am very unimpressed by this light. I ordered a Nicrew light for my other tank and side by side it's pretty clear which light is better. They are both roughly the same price but its league's ahead of this aquaneat light.Pretty disappointed cause I bought an aquaneat light for a 10 gallon a while back and was very impressed by it. Either this light is defective or they are making crap products now.

I got tired of dealing with those stupid florescent lights. They'd go out, the ballast would go out. I'd somehow always end up dropping $40 to buy a whole new hood. >:( I decided to go in another direction trying this one. It fit PERFECTLY on top of my 29 gallon aquarium. The color spectrum much nicer than the florescent light. Sadly it also revealed that it's time to clean the aquarium...LOL or I'd post a picture.

be careful of how far you stretch it ! bought this for my 5.5 nano tank it says 16" but it is not stable at 16" so i could not use it for the cost was not worth sending it back so i put it on a nother nano tank that has no plants" what i bought it for my planted tank but " the fish seen to like the light can't say it will grow plants cause it would not fit on the tank it was bought for

I have this on a 5 gallon tank and it barely fits. The brackets are at their max and if someone so much as touches the tank they will fall in. So I don't know if there just isn't enough on the brackets or if my 5 gallon is just a little off but it just doesn't fit. Other wise the light works fine and it doesn't over power the 5 gallon at all.

Ordered directly from CLL pet supplies, 30inch full spectrum led, the light itself is great for the price but power supply malfunctions less than a week, I have emailed CLL several times with no response, I ordered 2 lights and both broke within 2 weeks, so beware if your going to get the 30 inch model you will end up replacing the power supply plug.

This item is light, and easy to use in most situations. Our aquarium is now a statement piece in the room with proper light...great product and price is perfect!

I ordered this light to use as a refugium light. It's small, compact, and sleek just what I was looking for. I'll update this review over time if I run into any problems.Update:4 months in and it’s still running fine. Although, I would not recommend this for a refugium light, particularly for chaeto. I don’t believe that it is powerful enough for that application.
