The light works as it is described. Battery life in dim is excellent. The dimming function is in steps not like your typical dimmer switch with a smooth continuous transition. The installation was easy, the finish on the lamp (for stainless steel) is nicely done and matched the stainless steal frame that I had for my picture. The Illumination area of it may be of concern if the picture for is long and wide. On bright bright you may have a total of 14" x 14" total area of direct illumination. Overall..... if you are not a serious art collector and you do not need Gallery style lighting, but you want an elegant light for an art piece that does need wiring, I would recommend this lamp.

I wish the light were a bit bright and the dimming option quit working not too long after I purchased it. Even so, it's a much better product than others on the market. It's makes a nice statement and adds night lighting to my fav picture.

Great product for the price and freedom from wiring. Easy to screw on. BUT will fully illuminate anything other then a small squarish painting. Longer rectangular art, as most pieces would be, remain unlit at bottom 1/3

Seems to function well and the battery have lasted long enough. The problem I have with them is the color of the light. Our world class oil painting appears gray and washed out. The colors are awful with these LED's, yuck!

Beautiful light for your finest paintings. I purchased this light for a special event with low lighting for a 4 ft. by 3 ft. framed canvas and it looked beautiful and lit the painting very well.

This does very little to light up my picture.

I didnot like the chrome finish so my husband painted the unit black. It is perfect and love the remote.

Way too expensive! I'm crazy for buying it! Not worth it at all.... Guys if you need it I can send you mind for free!
