Awesome glasses, not every review I read was entirely accurate...
I don't usually write a lot of reviews for products, but I read a ton of reviews before buying anything; thus, I felt like this review was needed. Frankly, I think the bad reviews are misrepresenting this product in many ways. Sure, the bad reviews where the glasses were received scratched would merit a bad review, but that should be against the seller more than the product. Mine, however, were not scratched in any way when I received them. They were in perfect condition. The reviews stating how these glasses are "too large" with the inclusion of "...and I have a big head..." were a little unnerving, but I thought I'd buy them anyway. The thing is that these glasses claim to be 70s style aviators, and if you know anything about that style or have ever seen them, you would know that they are a little larger than most other glasses. That IS, in fact, part of the retro style of these glasses. Frankly, it has nothing to do with how big of a head you have, it has more to do with the shape of your face, among a few other things. I will fully grant that these glasses won't look just great on everyone, but no good pair of glasses may ever make that claim. Yes, these glasses are just a tiny bit larger than my other aviator pairs, but for me, that works, it's awesome and the style is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Furthermore, although I am not a small person, neither do I, nor do others I know, believe I have an overly "large head." However, my wife tried them on, who happens to be a smaller person in many respects, and yes, they did look a little comical. Frankly, my OTHER aviators almost look just as comical on her as well, so it is hardly fair to write these glasses off as a bad product. John Lennon style glasses, although awesome, look comical on me, but quite nice on my wife. Whether a pair of glasses look wrong on you or not is a problem of your own individuality, NOT the product. As to the quality, I believe for what I paid for them, I received my money's worth with a little more. They're not that much heavier than plastic lens glasses and when on, I don't really notice the weight. I will say that these glasses are quite a bit darker than most other pairs of sunglasses I've owned, but not too dark either. All in all, if you are looking for a retro-style pair of aviators (and can pull that style off), these fit the bill perfectly as long as you remember that due to the human condition of individuality, these may not work for you.

Better than my $4 aviators
I'm not sure what to expect out of $35 sunglasses, having never spent more than $10 on a pair before. These are definitely better quality than the 3-pack for $12 I bought off of ebay many years ago which worked quite well for my purposes and will be my only basis for comparison. Upon initial inspection, the frames felt a bit more sturdy and obviously the real glass lenses were heavier than the plastic ones, but looking closely you can tell they aren't perfectly set in the frames, but no one will notice. They feel good on, but there is a strange area one lens that isn't on the other, that I can only assume is glare as I don't notice it in more dimly lit conditions - maybe it's the sun glaring off of my white cheek and I don't see it in the other lens because they are set at slightly different angles. This glare is pretty muted and since it is only on one side, my brain is continually telling me there is a smudge, but there isn't. Not sure if this will be a deal breaker yet.I saw some reviews talking about the size of these glasses. They are almost exactly the same size of my previous aviators so I'm quite happy with the size. Anything smaller and they wouldn't look like aviators. They'd just look weird if they were smaller. All in all, I think these are a good purchase. They are the only real glass, mirrored aviators that I could find, so it's hard to say they aren't worth the money as there is no true comparison that I know of. They surely don't have the build quality of $100 non-mirrored ray bans, but they feel much better than $4 plastic lens mirrored aviators.

No Remorse!
Ladies & Gentleman,I would like to begin by first recommending these glass to EVERYONE. As long as you are an aviators fan, even the slightest, you will not regret purchasing a pair of these babies. To me, aviators never go out of style and the fact that these glasses have real glass lenses (giving them some good weight) makes them perfect for me and rather rare nowadays. The look, feel, and quality is superb for the value, but you will have to see and experience them for yourselves. ;) Now, let me tell you about Simon Harris, the designer of these glasses. First of all, Simon provides excellent craftsmanship and customer service! My girlfriend broke my first pair because she hugged me so tightly after having not seen me in a week, and since I liked these glasses so much, I unsurprisingly purchased another pair. I found out recently that my second pair had a slight defect and I told Simon about it. I remember that the page stated that there was a One-Year Full Warranty that comes with these glasses and I explained to him the situation. His response? Another pair was sent on their way to me, for FREE, without requiring me to return the slightly defected pair to him. How... much... more... awesome... could... this... get? The first pair were perfectly fine, mind you. B) If you have the $$$, you are always out in the sun, and you want to look good while you are out there, get these aviators! One thing though, I think that these glasses are made for those of us with more of a head and a face because the lenses are pretty "old-school" big, and the frame a little wider than your average pair of sunglasses. :)

very disappointed
I seem to have received the same sort of product as a previous reviewer. My glasses have a very poorly applied "tint" paint on the lense that almost appears to have been worn over long usage. There are numerous flaws in the tint that are annoying to look through and I expect better out of even $10 glasses from a convenience store. The "glass" lenses also appear to be plastic on mine. At least the frames are nice solid metal construction and well chromed.
