220 Plastic Collar Stays in a Divided Box - 4 Sizes

And I can never find a shirt collar stay. This set offers 4 sizes. It's well packed, in a good sturdy box and there are four sizes. Eliminates last minute rummaging in a drawer. They are so sturdy hat they can be removed easily. You should never launder a shirt with stays in them because it can tear the collar. The stays are plastic so if you leave them in and launder a shirt it may not tear the collar- but best t o remove them. A good purchase and well worth the price.

There isn't much to say about these collar stays but what I can say is that they arrived quickly and were exactly as described.My experience is that these collar stays are a heavier plastic than those used in dress shirts when they're packaged and so they hold up quite well. Even after the occasional accidental wash, they're still straight and perfectly usable.As stated, the box includes 3 sizes of stays but, happily, there are far more medium-sized stays than the others. That's great because I find that I use that medium size much, much more than the others. I have a few shirts that use the smaller sized ones but I have yet to find anything that would require the larger size. Oh well, they'll be there if/when I need them :)200 quality stays for just over 10 bucks is a really great deal in my opinion. This box should last me a long, long time and if I ever run out, I'll definitely buy more of these. That is to say, I would definitely recommend!

Someone else said, "better than expected", and I would agree. I have been suffering, though I didn't know it was suffering, with the original collar stays included in a new shirt purchase. I tended to lose, bend, or break these on a regular basis, and they were becoming harder and harder to find around the house. The only alternate I could find was 5 pair of metal stays from a dress store chain, for $10!! I lost those too, often through the cleaners.These are not the typical collar stays that come with a shirt. They are thick, sturdy, and don't bend easily. There are plenty in the box, more than I can imagine ever needing (assuming I reuse them). Even if they were one-use, I could last half a year before I needed more.Plus, they won't set off a metal detector in an airport. I did purchase some metal ones too, but in general those are overkill compared to the suitability of these in their place. Plus, if you lose a pair, there is less crying to be had at $0.12 each.

Good sized set of collar stays / points. You get far too many of the longer sizes and not enough of the smaller ones. I'm not sure who decided to put all of the longer ones in there but they don't fit in most of my shirts (Generic department store brands, Kenneth Cole, etc). They are very solid pieces of plastic though and do not bend easily - the ones that come with most of the dress shirts I buy are much thinner and get bent very easily just wearing the shirts. I've cut a bunch of the long ones down to match the shorter size and just left them with a square end to avoid having to find a different supply of shorter ones.

Great little box of collar stays. If you forget to take out the original collar stays that come with your dress shirts when you put them in for dry cleaning, they may be taken out by the cleaners or they could get lost in the cleaning process. These are very sturdy replacements for your collar stays and there are so many in there that you are not in any risk of running of them in case you forget to take them out after use.Price is pretty amazing for what you get. It's not a huge luxury buy, but these are the one of the items that keep you looking sharp. It really can be the little things like collar stays that make the difference between a man looking good in his suit and the man that is in a suit "Because he has to wear it". We have all seen the difference and it does get noticed if your collar is flimsy and unruly.Shipping was fast and the packaging is very convenient.

I read the reviews saying these stays are thicker (and consequently stiffer) than "normal" ones. I believe some of the reviewers even compared the stays to the stiffness of a credit card. Still, I didn't get my hopes up but I needed some collar stays so I took the plunge. I selected these particular ones in hopes of the reviews being correct AND because of the box to keep them sorted. Although I could probably find something at Walmart or elsewhere to hold them, the time and effort I would put in and possibly higher price of the container just wasn't worth it (besides I don't want to sort them myself!)I any case, the stays came and to my delight were actually as stiff as the aforementioned reviewers reported. So far I've used only the 2.5" and 3" stays which are great. To be honest, I kinda doubt I'll ever use the 2" ones, but I bought it knowing that. The only thing I'm not 100% pleased with is the case b/c the dividers don't come completely flush with the lid when closed. This means that with a bit of shaking it would be possible to get a couple of stays migrating into the section next to them. Actually, when the case arrived, this was the first thing I noticed as a couple of stays were sitting between the dividers and the lid. I don't forsee this being a major issue even if I do take it on a trip with me. Worst case scenario I have to pick a couple stays out of the wrong area (it's not like they're all going to be sloshed around into other areas.)I'm very pleased with the box, the stays and the price. I imagine I won't be needing to look for replacement stays for quite a while.Just one final note on the stiffness and thickness of these stays: while some shirts may come with better ones, unless you're breaking into the $70 - $100 per shirt range, these are probably going to be better. For instance, they are superior to the T.M. Lewin stays which typically run about $50 a shirt and IMO are superior to most shirts a department store like Macy's would carry.

They claim to be 3 times thicker than the flimsy plastic stays that come with shirts. While this is true, these stays are relatively flexible and are too light to actually keep the collar points down.This results in collar points that point outward or lift away from the collar bone instead of maintaining contact.Also, as with all collar stays, these are to be removed when washing/laundering and ironing your shirts. Keeping stays in the collars can actually ruin the collars by deforming, or tearing through the fabric.

Perfect, different sizes for any of my shirt sizes. Perfect fitment in my shirts, they don't slip out and are not visible from the outside.
