We have an older female dog who has recently began to become quite lethargic. She was spending all of her time in bed, not really sleeping, but just looking exhausted, miserable and in pain. As she has normally been an extremely active little girl, we took her to the Vet., and received some very bad news. In addition to Denemarin, we added various forms of milk thistle, and this treatment, Denosyl.The Denemarin and Denosyl must be given on an empty stomach, so we awaken in the middle of the night to give her medications, and then repeat the process 12 hours later. We noticed a change in our little girls behavior very rapidly. She began to show signs of a returning interest in life, and began to get out of bed in the morning to go downstairs for morning vitamins and supplements, a high-point in the lives of our foster dogs.The longer we keep her on the medications mentioned, the more she seems to come back to life again. She even began to jump up on her hind legs, and was seen running up and down the stairs, as well as returning to her bossy self as alpha head of the pack. I have never seen such a transformation in an amimal before , it seemed to be a modern miracle.We requested another liver test, and the results were quite startling, her liver numbers were improved by hundreds of points , and we have every reason to believe that as long as we continue this treatment, which includes Demosyl, her life will be extended, I wish to make the disclaimer that this history relates only to our dog, her situation and condition, and our non-vet. observations upon her behavior. There is no guarantee that the same results could be achieved for different dogs, in different situations. This is purely our story. But perhaps it will provide some help to someone else, and their beloved fur-kid. If so, then it was worth writing this story. Yes, it met my expectations, and more. The price is more affordable for my budget, plus less fuss in preparation. I was using the chewable form, but, my fur girl wouldn't take it unless I used a pill popper divided into 6ths! LOL. Now I use just one 225mg regular DENOSYL tablet in a half pill popper.

These have been critical for my dog Lola who has IMHA (immune-mediated hemolytic anemia) because the medications are tough on her liver etc. She gets one a day. I hide it in a little cream cheese then roll in turkey.

I have been giving my dog these for a while now because she has developed liver issues in her old age. I put it in with her food when I feed her and she eats it right up, makes it so easy to give to her when she likes the taste. We have been able to keep her liver enzymes in reasonable levels and I'm sure this has helped that so very satisfied.

This is a great product for my dog. I put the medication in a teaspoon of dog food and Lilly (my pet) takes it immediately. She likes it.The Denosyl is packaged well and all ways arrives in fine shape.

My dogs have liver issues specific to the Scottie Breed. Have been using this product for some time now and even though there still are issues, problems have not worsened. Feel it is holding bay on problems.

Came to Canada. Did NOT have to pay duties. I have seen a couple people with issues regarding having to pay duties on this item in Canada, but I have now ordered them twice without any issues. Products expiry was 2020 on the 3 I received which is great and all of the tablets are factory sealed without any breaches.
