Get rid of fluorescent bulbs
Cheap to operate last for years never replace a starter.Installed in basement the cord is handy

Description still fails to communicate
Vendor's product description could be interpreted as 2 units shipped as one.At least I did.I returned the single unit and purchased two locally at a fair price.

Not easy to surface mount!
I'm a Journeyman electrician, and all I can say these lights are terrible for surface mounting. If you use the chains to do a drop mount they are fine. But you will fight like hell to get them straight on a surface mount. If you want to surface mount or install over an existing junction box, look elsewhere. Normally I enjoy FEIT products so these are a bit of an exception in what I say is a poor quality fixture. Brightness and quality is just 'okay'.
