**Q: What diameter are the tips?**
A: Hello Dominic,
The hardened tip looks just over 1mm in diameter.
I would suspect that the tips are of a standard size, the pliers certainly worked very well with the circlip.

**Q: How far apart can the tips spread?**
A: 22 mm

Great tool good quality worked a treat on my door handle circlips.

Got this as had a door handle spring fail. The door springs are really cheap, just require this type of tool to remove and install. It is much cheaper to have this in your tool box for the odd occation a handle spring might fail than to call out a Handyman to charge for his 5 minutes of effort.
