Keep Calm & Read On Beaded Bookmark

I love to read and mostly I've been reading on my Kindle but lately, I've missed holding a book so I've been buying some books in the paperback format. I had lost my favorite bookmark so I was using a plain notecard as a bookmark but that was just not fun at all. I started searching on here for bookmarks and came across  Keep Calm and Carry On Beaded Bookmark , which I ordered along with this one because I'm a major bibliophile.This bookmark is red on both the front and back, has the words "Keep Calm and Read On" (a twist on the pre-WWII British motivational saying "Keep Calm and Carry On") printed on the front, along with a book. It measures 2 1/4 inches (L) by 7 1/8 inches (H) and is made of paper that feels similar to tagboard. It has a white tassel and a silver bead on it. It comes in a plastic sleeve that is perfect for gift-giving. This bookmark is printed in China.I've been using this bookmark for a couple months now and it's still in great shape. I'm not rough on my things and feel with normal use, this will last me awhile. It's not super thick like the imitation leather bookmarks I own but, for the price, I feel the quality is great.I'm so happy I found these bookmarks because I love seeing positive, inspirational sayings while I'm reading my paperback books. I own several of these bookmarks from Peter Pauper Press and keep finding others I may have to purchase as well! If you are looking for a good-quality bookmark for yourself or as a gift for a fellow bibliophile, I recommend this one, as well as any of the bookmarks by this company!

A traditional bookmark with a cute little phrase--what's not too like!

The bookmark is a decent thickness. The art is as depicted. The tassle is decent. The bead adds some style. It's a bookmark and it does what it is designed for. Sometimes they can come a bit warped when delivered, but not too bad.

I gave a book to some family members at Christmas (among other things), and I included one of these in the box. Wasn't sure from the picture if the quality was good, but it's terrific. I kept one for myself, and it's still like new after six months.

Great gift idea

I bought this more to encourage my children to read than to remind myself to keep calm and to continue reading. My only regret in buying this nifty little bookmark is that I only bought one. Now both boys read with a voracious appetite and in keeping their places they cannot. One dog-ears his book (even library books) while the other uses this very bookmark to mark his spot. Okay, maybe I have two regrets...

I personally bought it for my MCAT review and to use while making notes and it works perfectly! It's made of very sturdy material and it's not flimsy at all! :)

Ebbene ho aggiunto anche questo bookmark alla mia collezione.Sarebbe perfetto se fosse fatto con cartoncino plastificato e rigido. Però è bello e pratico anche così.

Best bookmark I own. This really is a great bookmark. It's built pretty solid, I know you don't think of bookmarks like that, but seriously, feel this one against ones from like Chapters, this one feels WAY better. Not only that, but the text seems like it's ingrained into the material, not just haphazardly painted on there or even worse, stickers.It's just, as a nerd, I want superhero bookmarks but everyone I find is just a picture of some heroes stuck onto some bookmark. I wish they made some that are like this.10/10 - great bookmark.
