Bought this for our 50 inch tv.We have a drop ceiling and needed our tv to hang from the rafters in our room.It was very easy to install with the instructions that were provided, so we did not need professional installation!It is very sturdy, doesn’t shake even when my kids are in the kitchen above where the tv is and are jumping, no worries of it falling at all!It pivots and moves in all direction needed, tilts really well, has made it easy to view the tv from any spot on our bed!So glad we bought this! It by far is the best bang for the price!

Crooked holding ring
I like this mount but my one complaint is that the ring on the bottom of the pole holding the TV to the ceiling is not level. This means that when I turn the TV to face the other way it's crooked and I have to shift the TV one way or the other so that it isn't tilted to one side. I suspect this is a bit of a lottery as it looks like a manual tack weld but if they could level this ring it would be about perfect.

Good for ceiling not on wall
I think for a ceiling it would be good but we mounted it on the wall and when u tighten it the pole just bends but for a ceiling it would be fine
