Warm suit. Doesn't let cold water flush through the zipper !
I'm 5'11" 205lbs kinda stocky. I've sometimes have to wear a XXL because of my shoulders & chest but then those suits are loose in the legs on me. This fit me perfect ! I was concerned that it doesn't have a bat wing under the zipper & usually this means cold water runs down my back " But that's not the case with this suit" zipper holds out the water really good! It's got fleece inside which keeps you warm in cold water. Great suit for the $ also they packaged it nice & it didn't come all wrinkled. I've had new suits come wrinkled from other suppliers as they put the suit in a huge box & it just flopped around during shipping.

Great pricing for an excellent wetsuit.
I've owned many wetsuits over the years and normally you get what you pay for. This has been an excellent suit for what seemed much below what I expected to pay for something of this quality.

Great fit, great performance, one minor annoyance
XXL was perfect for 230lbs/6ft tall with a big belly/chest. I've never had a 4/3, but have decades of experience using thiner wetsuits and neoprene gear for different activities. Most of my stuff is around 2mm. It's crazy how warm 4mm is - I used this suit in 50-55F water and I couldn't even tell I was in the water.Only flaw with the product is the neck velcro easily gets stuck inside the suit and is very difficult to get un-stuck once the suit is on. I know what you're thinking: "they all do that." Not like this; the velcro absolutely welds itself deep inside your shoulder, even if you try to be careful about not dragging the flap in. This annoyance is worth it for the price; still a great value. No fault of the product, but the suit was sent in a box that was literally 6ft long, 3 inches deep, and around 30 inches across. This is obviously absurd, and might be a consideration depending on where you are sending the suit. Also, the suit had clearly been tried on and returned, which is a little gross, but fine with me.

Fit & Usage
Fit is true to size chart. I'm 6'3" 210 and suit fits very well. Bout this about 3-4 weeks ago. I have used this suit at least 15x now for work in temps ranging from 68° - 76° for multiple hours each time with no complaints. Warm with very little flushing. Zipper area you'll get some coolness from water intake but nothing your body won't be able to warm up very quickly. Temperature range I'd feel comfortable using this is from 65°- 78°. Lower than that you'll be chilly and need a long sleeve under armor style shirt, and higher you'll be too warm and need to constantly flush to be able to cool down. I do always wear a seperate CRESSI 3mm hood so keep that in mind. Seams are holding well, cuffs/ gaskets are tight but not uncomfortable. Good deal for a fairly priced wetsuit for general purposes and scuba. Spearfishing and freedivers save up and get a custom high-quality smoothskin (freediving) or open cell (spearfishing) both two pieces with built in hood. This suit is best used for watersports. I tend to get cold very easily so this wetsuit was a very pleasant suprise for being a 4/3. Perfect for any winter water temps in FL and any freshwater springs.

Affordable and durable!
The sizing chart is perfect for this product. I bought mine so that I could train in the cold spring water in Northern Ohio. I get bored swimming laps in a pool, so I like to get out in the lakes for some open water swimming and it keeps me warm in 60 degree water. The fit of the wetsuit is very good. Many times you will not have enough space in the arm pits with a modestly-prices suit, but this suit fits perfectly. Plenty of room around the arm pits to get a full stroke and not fatigue the shoulders. Another reviewer mentioned that there is some space in the small of your back with this suit. This happened to me as well, there is a small space in the small of my back, but I don't think this is preventable and it does not really hurt the suits performance. I have broad shoulders and I think this contributes to the fit in the small of the back. Either way, everything about this suit is great, and it is priced fairly.

Does the job, quality could be better
Update: downgrading to 1 star because after 5 more uses that thing really started falling a part. I found 6 more holes, all alone seams. I windsurf few weekends out of the month, between uses suit always dried and stored appropriately. I really see no reason why it would fall apart except that material usd is garbage. It does the job, fits well and very warm.Giving it 3 stars because of the manufacturing quality. I’ve used it handful of times over 2 years (on weekends, here and there) maybe 2 dozen time total. It still looks like new. The seam around knee pad, split the first time I put it on. After reading warranty, it seemed as such a hassle to send it for repairs so I just left it and was very careful putting that leg on. Today I noticed that seam in armpit splitting as well.I have been in water sports for almost 25 years now and O’Neil was always my go to brand but the quality of their product seems to get worse and worse. If you are looking for a quality product, this is not it.

I ordered down a size
I am 5' 11 1/2 and 165 lbs. Took a chance and ordered the MS size because it had a big discount. Already owned a medium Oneill 4/3 suit and it fit well but let a bit of water in. This one is snug and pretty sure that no water will get in. Got it on and off with ease. Figure with a bit of use it will loosen up anyway. Very well built wetsuit. Happy with purchase.

The most for your money
Some background on me, a swim instructor and I constantly have to be in the water for 6+ hours, 5 days of the week. This wetsuit keeps me warm and makes me feel as if I’m not even in cold water. On top of that, it’s still holding strong after 200+ hours of wear. It does rip a little at the leg cuffs but the suit itself holds strong. Will buy again.
