Review: Great tool for handmade cards! - Love this scorer! It makes such nice, sharp grooves in my handmade cards. It's super lightweight but also durable. It is portable and easy to store. I will say, don't buy this expecting to score multiple cards at once. If you try to, it will most likely misalign (I learned that the hard way). But for single, small jobs, it's perfect! Great price, too.
Review: Simple and Reliable - Easy to use!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What material is the bone folder made from? Is it actually bone or something else?**
A: In days of yore, and still available if you look specially, a 'bone folder' was made of actual bone (or bamboo in Japan). Nowadays it's almost always made of rigid plastic, or teflon, etc. If only there was a vast international information repository available to all that you could instantly look up 'bone folder' on any computer or smartphone :-) Some reckon that plastic is superior to real bone because real bone might have rough bits or have unsmooth impurities.

**Q: this is measured in inches**
A: ScorPal measures from inches to eighth inches. You can create almost anything from card to envelope to box on this device!

**Q: is this version #4?**
A: I don't see the version number on the Scor-Pal itself.

**Q: I need diagonal inset. What do I purchase that works with Scorpal?**
A: Scorepal sells that also.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I shouldn't have waited so long to purchase
*by D***E on January 7, 2026*

Glad I bought this. Been putting it off thinking that I didn't really need it, but since I've been making more complex cards, it has become a very handy and welcome tool to use. The scoring tool included is perfect and I like the fact that it is always available right on the scoring board. Won't lose it that way. Speeds up the scoring process whether making just one card or a dozen.
