Scoring Board, 12" x 12", 1/8" Space Grooves, Measuring and Scoring Tool for Card Making, Envelopes, Boxes, and Paper Crafts

Love this scorer! It makes such nice, sharp grooves in my handmade cards. It's super lightweight but also durable. It is portable and easy to store. I will say, don't buy this expecting to score multiple cards at once. If you try to, it will most likely misalign (I learned that the hard way). But for single, small jobs, it's perfect! Great price, too.

Easy to use!

Glad I bought this. Been putting it off thinking that I didn't really need it, but since I've been making more complex cards, it has become a very handy and welcome tool to use. The scoring tool included is perfect and I like the fact that it is always available right on the scoring board. Won't lose it that way. Speeds up the scoring process whether making just one card or a dozen.

Recently I've been making my own greeting cards, which I color laser print on the color "copier/printer" at work on Extra Heavy cardstock. Specifically, 12 pt, 247 gsm (g/m2), glossy coated 1-side. I make my cards "full bleed", which is to say I print them on larger cardstock or note cards and then cut them down so that the image goes to the edge of the card... NO BORDER. I was buying lighter weight, pre-folded (scored w crease) cards (5" x 7" that I cut down to 4 1/2" x 6 1/2") but realized I could use flat 8 1/2" x 11" stock instead. That way I could get heavier stock, at a lower price, that printed better because it didn't have the folding crease. In addition, I didn't have the hassle of trying to line up the photo on the front to exactly match the crease. Also, I didn't have to deal with cards that didn't fold exactly evenly. Instead, I started printing on standard sized 8 1/2" x 11" stock and scoring the cardstock myself, using a letter opener. That worked OK, but only scored/creased one side of the cardstock, so still had some slight tearing of the paper fibers. Then I found this device!. ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! This device, in the 12" x 12" size, handles my full sheet of paper, regardless of whether my card folds vertically (portrait) or horizontally (landscape). It is dead accurate and because of the grooves in the base, my cards now fold perfectly without any tearing of the paper fibers (see photos). One I score and then fold the card, I cut it down to its final size using a paper cutter or razor knife and metal ruler. I read a review about the included bone folding tool not working well, so I ordered a highly rated bone tool at the same time. Well, I've tried both and the included tool works great. This scoring device is so PERFECT that I may buy another one in order to keep one at work (where I do the printing) and one at home.

This Score-Pal is exactly as described by the manufacturer. It's great for working with larger size scrapbooking and card-making cardstock. I do really like using my "mini" one though. It takes up less space . My only complaint about both of them is that the bone folder is sort of flimsy. I really have to apply pressure when scoring. I wish that it was sturdier. It would be easier to stay in the right 'channel' when scoring.

Finally a scoring board that has the right measurements. I love the Scor-Pal. I have quite a few scoring boards that are way off in their measurements.. This one is so accurate.

Wonderful for card making.

This is an excellent product. I tried several others and didn’t like. Has a nice clicking holder for the scoring tool and also a magnetic area at the top. Would highly recommend.

El producto es lo que necesitaba y como el fabricante lo detalla .Muy contenta con este tablero.Por mi parte aconsejaria a comprarlo.

OMG. This is a fab score board. Great size which fits the paper sizes I use. Lots of measurements to choose the one that works best. Grooves help guide the marker without jumping to another row. Really easy to use with clear numbers. Price was pretty good as well. I would buy it again

Compré esta tabla por que la de Martha Stewart, que es la más popular, no la tenia Amazon a la venta en ese momento, y los proveedores que la tenían en su catalogo cobraban más del envío que lo que cuesta la tabla!!! El envío fue lento, me cambiaron la fecha de entrega en 3 ocasiones, pero en si la tabla cumple todas mis expectativas, las ranuras son lo suficientemente profundas para que no brinque la plegadora de línea, tiene un buen tamaño de 12 pulgadas, las marcas son cada octavo de pulgada, que es lo que necesito, no trae el triángulo para hacer los sobres, este lo venden por separado, pero como no lo necesito ya que tengo la envelope punch board, para mi esta bien, en resumen un buen articulo con el que estoy muy satisfecha
