Simple Touch C30004 The Original Auto Shut-Off Safety Outlet, Multi Setting, 2 Count

Works with my box fan, a small air conditioner, a cheap coffee maker (no timer) and an occasionally used soldering iron. Product is good to make sure you never wonder, "gee, did I leave that on when I left the house?".

I have been using the Simple Touch cut-off timers for several years. Pictured above are two examples. The black clog that goes directly into the unit is shutting off a coffee pot just in case I happen to run out of the house and forget to turn it off. This makes me feel much safer .The other photo shows a battery being charged in a recharge unit that is supposed to cut off the power to the battery on its own when the battery is fully charged. That doesn't always work. The result is that I have to buy new batteries which cost about $10 to $15 each. Worse than that is the fact that the batteries were out rapidly if they are overcharged and that means my portable vacuum cleaner only gives me 5 to 10 minutes of cleaning.Using this device ensures that I don't ever charge the battery and prevents a potential electrical electrical fire if I should forget to turn off a coffee maker.

In my area, electric code requires that the ground prong be mounted up. When I plug this into my socket, it's upside down and the plugged in cord covers the buttons so that the can not be seen or accessed. This item is NON RETURNABLE, so I am just screwed out of my money.

This is the easiest setting timer. It can be set for steady on or timed off at 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. I bought this for our coffee maker at work. It works as expected. No more waking at 3 am wondering if anyone turned the coffee maker off at work.

Like others have said, you have to push the button more than once (sooooo much work 🤣) but it does what it advertises. From an engineering/efficiency standpoint having to click only once WOULD be nice. But that's not how this one works. Find one that DOES that if it's that important to you. This shuts off after number of hours you have selected. Works great on my wife's curling iron and my coffee pot that didn't have an auto-off feature. No complaints overall.

Does what it is supposed to do. Gives me peace of mind when I plug in my chargers.

I really like the timer, it’s great to be able to set 15, 30,, 45 or 60 minutes to run my device. A great timer switch for a great price.
