Scotch Postal Wrapping Paper - 30 inches wide x 30 feet long - Brown - Perfect for our shipping needs
This is tough stuff that we use for wrapping certain parcels before shipping, and recommend it highly if you are looking for a similar wrap.Sometimes the items we ship are already in their own sturdy shipping box, with specifics about the item printed on the box. We could just slap a label on that box and send it on the way, but for a variety of reasons (gifts, the nature of the contents, etc...) we often have the need to cover the box with a generic wrap prior to mailing. Of course, we could always put the product box inside another shipping box to mail out securely, but that seems such a waste of resources and always adds weight (therefore increasing shipping cost).Time after time, this Scotch Postal Wrapping has proven to be just what we need. It is tough -- think about your most recent experience with a paper grocery bag, and that's about the thickness and texture we are talking about here. When we have to manually address an item we use medium Sharpies (black ink), and this paper is easy to write on with those pens. When we have the ability to print and use an adhesive address label, they stick to this paper without any issue. When wrapping a box with this paper, we do take the precaution of using good, strong tape as some off-brand lightweight tapes just do not have the fortitude to hold this heavy wrap together well. We wrap the tape completely around the box's center lengthwise, ensuring that the tape overlaps itself in order to have a strong bond, then we repeat that process wrapping the tape completely around the center of the short side. Never have an issue that way. There certainly are cheaper papers out there, but when we tried them in years past they often provided an unacceptable shipping experience. If you are looking for a postal wrap that you can rely on time-after-time, and if you are willing to take an extra moment to wrap the item with the right tape and labeling, then we recommend this Scotch Postal Wrap.If your experience is like ours has been, your family, friends and customers will notice the quality.Highly recommended.

Kraft paper backdrop
I used this wrapping paper as a backdrop for a bubbly bar at a baby shower (there was both sparkling wine and water available). This wrapping paper served as our gift wrapping paper for the crib (a very large box) and as the backdrop. It was very sturdy material. I was able to stick faux roses through the paper and hang a banner from it. Will definitely consider using kraft paper again as a backdrop as it can be used for a multitude of things and itโs a lot better for the environment! The only thing I may do differently next time is get a wider roll.

Scotch Packaging Paper.
My Mom insists that any packages we wrap for delivery be wrapped with Scotch Pacaging Paper. It does seem to work no matter what I am sending. I have mailed potato chips, and I don't kinow this firsthand, but I was told that the potato chips arrived fine. (I would think they'd be all broken, but when you're away from Pennsylvania and get chips made by companies here, I guess as long as they are not crumbs and can be picked up with your hands, they're okay. :)

Good Wrapping Paper
This is a very good wrapping paper for your postal needs. When I read several reviews, I went with the one that said that the quality and thickness of the paper was like that of a good heavy duty supermarket bag. Well, not quite like the bags in the stores from which I purchase my foods. I don't know where that reviewer shops but this is not as thick as a bag from a store such as that from a couple of large chain stores at which I shop. That said, it is heavier than a piece of plain printer paper, but not that of the weight of card stock, but it worked well for my purposes. I had to send out a manuscript to a publisher, and the paper was certainly sturdy enough to hold the 648 pages that I needed to post. I would still give this is a rating of about 4 1/2 stars rather than a plain 4.

Makes great 100% RECYCLED wrapping paper (post-consumer)!
I wanted recycled wrapping paper for Christmas, but the very few options I was able to find were super expensive. I don't see the sense in chopping down trees for paper that is used once and then landfilled. (Same with toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates...) I've been recycling all my paper for years, and most people I know do the same, so I don't understand why simple recycled paper is not widely available! I do buy 100% post-consumer recycled lettersize bond for my office printers from Staples (ink jet and laser printer). Have been for years and it never bleeds through or jams. Seems simple enough, but I guess the industry is too vested in their equipment and process. Anyway, I bought this kraft paper (100% recycled) and looked on Pinterest for wrapping ideas. There are tons of great ways to make plain kraft paper into the cutest wrapping paper, including many ideas that won't take a lot of time (I'm not the scrapbooking type).

Thick and sturdy wrapping paper for rustic/artistic results
I'm all for re-using wrapping paper year round so I like buying plainer paper that works for all occasions. As other reviews have mentioned, this wrapping paper is Heavy Duty, capital H/D. It doesn't crease easily like that Dollar Store crap and it has a nice thick texture to it. I purchased something similar from Michael's the year before and it was nowhere near as lusciously thick (and also nowhere near as cheap!). This cuts well - and by cut, I mean I can be lazy and scissor shear across the entire length without worry about it snagging/ripping.That being said, regular scotch tape won't cut it...that well. Either get a slightly more robust version or be prepared to tape, tape, tape. I used baker's twine wrapped 4-ways around each present and that mitigated some of the hardcore taping needs.

Depends on what you need it for
Super thick, doesnโt work for what I wanted it for. Itโs heavy duty and kind of hard to work with.
