These beat the beans out of nails. If you've got the budget .. upgrade to these.

Product was exactly what I ordered and shipped fast. The cost was less than what was available locally!

Used these with Simpson joist hangers. For DIYers like me that are not to handy with a hammer, these make the job fast and easy. If you are good with a hammer, then using nails would cheaper. Engineered by Simpson Strong-Tie so you know you can trust their strength.

I like that they hold the bracket so much better than the nails and you can reposition if necessary. Also much easier to fasten in tight quarters.

These add strength and speed to your construction project.

These certainly work with the Simpson (and other brands) connector/plates. The one issue I have is they are not pointed sharp (not self starting), so have a tendency to just spin in PT wood that is hard for a long time before finally biting, and often times jerk out of the supplied socket when initially spinning using a variable speed drill/driver. Can't tell you how frustrating when on your back in tight quarters attempting to get a screw into a connector plate and the screw keeps popping out of the bit. Wish these were sharper and self-starters. Otherwise, once they bite, no problems, does the job.

Pricey but could at least get a bulk box.Work well for the Simpson hangers in our deck project.
