Tray is Very Sturdy (Just be Aware of the Sizing)
I bought some pots for my new plants and needed a saucer for them. Before i got these i had the pots on the ground- that didnt work out so well. The water kept dripping onto the deck which caused a bunch of stains that we still haven’t gotten rid of to this day. At one point I tried improvising with a plastic plate but i removed it eventually…didn’t want it to break from the weight of the pot on top. I figured i would need an actual plant saucer so here I am with these! I’m so glad I found them. What can I say? I am very impressed with the quality. Its much sturdier than I had imagined. It works great too when I’m watering my plants- it has high sides so it catches all the excess water. Now i don’t have to worry about having stains on my wooden deck! Its easy to use as well- it comes a nice groove that fits the pot inside. It doesnt get off centered or slide around even when I’m moving it either (I like to move my plants indoors sometimes). The orange color matches my planters too so it looks like a set. For now it hasn’t faded in the sun either. I was recommended by my friend to use them with this plant stand- it elevates everything from the ground and I like the way it looks. The only con is that theyre not true to size. I got the 8 inch ones but they’re closer to 7 1/2 inches- the lip on the outside takes up almost half an inch. Luckily though i was still able to fit my pot in. So just be careful when youre deciding which to get- its probably a good idea to get one size larger.

It's for the birds!
I specifically bought this not to use as a plant saucer, but as a birdbath (it gets quite hot in my state in the summer). The objects sold as birdbaths here are very expensive and, frankly, don't look physically appropriate or large enough for use by birds of varying sizes (as well as to quench the thirst of nocturnal animals who would also use it). The Bloem Terra 20" saucer has turned out to be a wonderful solution. It is extremely sturdy, the taupe color is a nice neutral shade, and the size is wide enough to accommodate birds large and small. I added pebbles so that smaller birds would have better traction for bathing, and it looks terrific. Compared to any object offered as a birdbath here, Bloem's saucer is far and away better than any of them for this purpose, and at $6.85, it's a great bargain as well. The birds and I will be very happy this year.

Not 20" barely 17"
I ordered 4 of these in 20" diameter, what arrived is labeled 20" but the saucers are barely 17"

Another incorrect description!
I ordered the 20" piece and I am really perturbed that you say this is 20" when, in fact, it is only 17". How can you advertise it like that???? I measured it with a measuring tape! Fiskars 10 Inch TerraTray, Color Clay

Size is much smaller than description
The quality and functionality of the tray is adequate but most importantly, the size of the tray does not measure according to the description. I bought a "16" tray. It was 14.5" (exactly as the one I already had) and therefore too small for the pot I wanted to accommodate. I didn't think of checking reviews because I believed the product was already known to me. I mistakenly trusted the sizing in the title to be accurate. Very disappointing as I wasted time measuring, beforehand. Lesson: Read the reviews before you place an order.

Not actually 16"
I actually ordered this 16" pan to go under a bushel of crabs in my refrigerator. 16" would have been perfect, however, this pan is only 14.5" at its max diameter (even measuring from the outer ring). So needless to say, it's not being used for its intended purpose. It seems sturdy though, so I'll keep it for another use. Guess I'll be ordering the next size.

Does not work with the matching pot
I bought my husband 3 of these to match the 3 pots I bought at the same time. I got them for his birthday, which was early March. This year our Upstate New York Winter is just ending now the 3rd week of April. When he planted in them today, he said the pots rock on the tray, and rock worse once there is soil in them. I was going to send them back, but my return window already closed, so that was a waste of money. The concept is nice, but I wouldn't recommend buying the trays.

Cheap Chinese Substitute
I ordered a Fiskers product, instead I received a Bloem product. I currently own several of the original Fiskar's pots and trays (12"). They are sturdy enough to transport a potted bamboo, a Mandevilla vine, et cetera indoors before the late fall freeze and outdoors to enjoy the sunshine of spring and summer. Apparently Bloem bought the Fiskar's decorative pot line in January of 2006. The flimsy, cheaply cast Bloem plastic is not going to hold up to the weight of soil and plant. They are going back. Unfortunately, like most mergers that cut out long time reliable favorites, I will be very surprised if there is anything comparable on the marketplace. I believe that current marketing forces (i.e. laws and incentives) are the ruinous to the American economy.

Very thin
Bought the 14 inch saucer in green. It is very thin plastic on the bottom, sides a bit thicker. Has a lip around edge. 100% plastic-a bit flexible so it probably wont break/split. However, I had to return it because there is an inner raised ring in the bottom and my flat bottomed pot wouldn't sit properly in it. Look closely at item picture. May work with different pots, but not the one I intended it for.

Expensive plastic
I thought this was going to be made of terracotta....probably because "Terra" is in the description and was $40. Now reviewing the item I see it says it's plastic. Absolutely shocked they are charging $40 for a plastic plant saucer. Save your money and go to the store where you can get one for less than half the price.

Good value for a large 20 inch tray.
The tray is 2- 3/4 inches deep which is deeper than most trays that I have seen or purchased in the past. The tray has a rolled rim which makes it quite stable.I purchased two trays; one for a large house plant and the other to be used as an outdoor bird bath.

Bird bath.
The depth makes it possible to install a float valve for remotely located water source at cabin while away. Birds in the wild love this type of facility in the area.

Arrived quickly
Not right size for pot used on different one. I like the ridges that keep pot slightly elevated in saucer.
