My husband loves this hat. This is the first hat he has owned made of this material and that has UV protection. He always wears a baseball hat when he is out to protect his bald head from the sun. Hats made out of the regular canvas material are great but they were too hot for the 90 degree days of July so he decided to give this hat a try. He loves it. It is made of a very nice light weight material that keeps his head protected but also cool. It is constructed very well. Nice stitching and quality materials. The hat has a adjustable band too. It fits him perfectly.We purchased the grey color and it looks very nice. The stripe down the side is nice but doesn't stick out too much. Like I said, comfort is excellent. I haven't washed it yet but will update my review if I need to after washing. Overall he is very happy he tried this hat and will probably buy another one to have as a back up. If you are looking for a protective but cool baseball hat this is an excellent choice.

A very lightweight hat that's surprisingly comfortable to wear. It's pretty good-looking in the blue color, too. It fits reasonably well on my L/XL hat-sized noggin.But mine is going back for two reasons. One is the adjustable strap in back dangles after I adjust the hat to my size (not enough tail to tuck it in). But the big reason is the hat soaks through in sweaty weather, and I purchased it specifically for hot-weather hiking.This is good and bad: that means the material is moderately breathable and your sweat won't coat the inside like on a nylon hat. But the bad is that sweat spotting looks pretty ugly, and it presumably is also not water-resistant going the other way.This would be a good choice in dry climates or if you're not a big sweater. Since I live in a humid, sweaty climate, it's going back.

I bought this as a running hat. The title/description said that it’s for men and women. I’m a woman and even with the strap adjusted all the way down, it’s not quite as tight as I’d like. Still, it’s close, so I took it for a run today. Unfortunately, I think I’m going to have to give it to my husband. It was a little breezy, and a few times it felt like it was going to blow off. I managed to keep it on through the run (having my ponytail pulled through the small hole in the back helped), but I don’t want to have to mess with a hat during a run—it’s just too big.I will say it’s nice and light, and the sweatband is very soft an absorbent. If they had this in a size that would fit me, I’d buy it. I’m disappointed this one won’t work, but at least my husband will get some use out of it.

I bought this product on Aug 30th and wore it about 6 - 7 times since then. I had been very pleased this purchase so far - It is lightweight, good color, and feel good when working out. However, my views changed when I picked up the cap this morning. The front hood already came apart. I never expected it to happen within 40 days of purchasing it. Please be careful when purchasing this product.

This is my 'go-to' summer hiking hat. The hat so light you can hardly feel it on your head. The material is completely breathable with no waterproofing. If you want a hat that will keep your head dry in the rain this hat would need to have some waterproofing added. On the other hand it breathes extremely well and allows the sweat from your head to pass through. It does have a good interior sweat band. The brim is long and gives good protection from both the sun and the rain. It is long enough to keep my glasses dry while hiking in the rain. I believe the interior of the brim is plastic so the brim holds up well when wet. Following hikes I have been throwing the hat in the washing machine with my other hiking clothes. Rather than placing it in the dryer I just hang it up. It dries very quickly.
