Q: do they help on dvds they tile when they play in the dvd player?

I dont understand your question, what do you mean tile when they play o DVD player..anyway they do keep the DVDs clean but did not get out my hang ups which were on the DVD I had, but they are a good product.

Yes, I've used them more than once.

Pleased with the fast wipes, they really made the dvd surface like new again and they require no additional cleaning other than just the wipes
