According to something I read online the average person spends ten years of their life on the toilet. So why not indulge yourself with this beautifully crafted item. Marvel at its sleek lines. Feel its gentle caress. Gaze in wonderment as it closes almost imperceptibly slowly. Try your hardest to hear it close shut. Fitting it was so quick and easy I was flushed with success.

Does not fit standard oval toilets. Tapered and narrow
Despite being the right max width and length, and fitting the fixture points, the seat is not a ‘round’ profile/shape: it tapers, narrowing towards the back…It is much slimmer than the basin. Tried on 3 different toilets, all standard oval shape - this seat fits none of them! 3/3 fail rate.Yes, I did order the right type (oval, not sq or D). It’s simply an odd design. Quality and style are pointless unless the product fits its intended purpose. Don’t waste your time.

Not actually soft-close
Not actually soft-close, as described. Has a couple of rubber mounds on the underside of the lid but still makes a loud noise when dropping the lid, nothing to slow it's drop and soften the sound.
