Compact Pistol Light with Strobe - Rail-Mounted Tactical Light for 1913 Picatinny/GL Style with Cree LED and CR2 Battery Included

Wow, my initial impression of it, is that this light is brighter than I had expected. But also keep in mind, that this is a midsize light. So it fits well on the underside of a handgun rail, but you will not fit most formed holsters or for an easy carry. But for having it attached for night-time use, it is fantastic. The picture I took does not really show off how bright this is, but in the way of single LED type lights I was a bit surprised. In darker settings, it will light up the entire room and will definitely brighten up anything you point it towards. Switch feels good, and my package came with an additional rubber bit that will fit over the switch (guessing that it is a replacement). Switch is just a click on/click off, and you can bump it to change between constant on and flashing. It does fit the rail as expected and tightens on just fine. Has a full metal body, and the front piece unscrews for easy battery replacement. Gaskets and the rubberized switch make it seem it would hold up to getting wet, but I have not done any testing to see how well it holds up to water. The springs where the battery is held in place appears to be sufficient to absorb shock and keep working. For a 22 handgun (and for a 223 rifle), I have had no problems with it at all. Soon I will test it on larger calibers for additional shock testing, and if it fails to stay on, or any other issues occur, I will be sure to revise my review. I already own two other CREE flashlights and I like and they do a good job so I figured I would give this on a shot as well. I use it on my px4 Storm. What I like: *Easy to attach. Its a simple as puling down on the two tabs and sliding it onto the rail. The spring then pushes the block into the retention channel and its secure in less than 3 seconds. *Super bright. Many rail mount flash lights have such a narrow beam are so spread out they are useless. With this light I can enter a 15x20~ room and it lights it up. From the back porch it is still very bright and is good for about 65~ meters, beyond that the woods are too thick to see through anyway. Stays cool: The body of the flashlight is made of aluminum witch acts as a heat sink for the LED. 600LM: If what I have said has not conveyed it yet this thing is f*****g bright and the 600LM rating is not just a marketing hype. My Dad has a $100 Stream Light that isn't as bright as this thing yet it fits in the palm of my hand. What I Don't Like: The only thing I don't like is that it requires the little CR2 batteries witch are not rechargeable. Conclusion: This is a great little flashlight that is vary bright and doesn't cost 200 bucks. The down side is that producing a 600 lumen beam requires a lot of power and thus the battery life is not excellent. But what is the point of a 5 HR battery life if the output is pathetic.

decent little light for the money, I'm on the fence if I'll buy another one or not, my two main issues with this light is the mounting system and the switch location/switch itself. the problem with the mounting system is that is now a bolt on type deal like every other attachment i've ever bought, if you notice the little thumbwheel looking thing in the pic, well that's not a thumbwheel, it's a pin that traps a spring loaded gate and that's how it attaches to your firearm, so if there is any slop once you put it on it's not coming out, i have a bit of play between my frame and my light due to this, i had read the other reviews and say people suggesting loctitie, that must be a different model or something as this one didn't have any threads anywhere to put threat locker on....as i said, it a pin/gate clamp system, not a bolt on type system, just for reference, my unit has a button on the bottom towards the back, a single "bolt" /"thumbwheel" looking thing near the rail section and a battery alignment symbol just above that. the G01 that said, the slop between the light and the pistol i wouldn't say is determinantal, it's not like it's going to fall off or that it's flopping all over the place, it's just not what i call secured, you get a bit of play between the frame and the light if you grab the light and wiggle it a bit, the light will wiggle as well. the second "issue" or more like quibble is the switch, it's a bit tough to push in and the location sucks, it'd be much better on the side or back...i get the thing about the sides, who wants a left and right handed light? i just find that with my med-small hands i can't toggle the light with out pulling the sights or adjusting my grip a bit, makes it tough to practice proper light discipline when clearing your house and area. That said, the switch may work for you or i may just be to used to streamlights and the like with the paddles on the back, just the combination of where the switch is located and how resistant it is to being pushed makes it no good for serious stuff for me. with that said, i'm not a complete moron, i know i wasn't buying a streamlight or the like for $28, what i got for my money was good enough and will suffice, it's pretty well made and has taken 100 rounds of 10mm so far without any real issues, it looks good and throws a decent amount of light, more than enough for someone wanting to clear their home, I'd suggest a more powerful handheld light if your going to venture outside, you really don't want your light attached to your weapon in public/outside the doors of your home and it could be handy to be able to point your light a different direction than your gun in some cases, like there's more than one person or to signal...

When purchasing this weapon light I was really just hoping it would fit my Taurus PT92 and that it would function. But upon quickly receiving it I was very surprised at the quality, brightness and how easy it is to attach and detach! This little light is very bright, would definitely temporary blind an assailant in a self defence situation especially with the added strobe effect. When looking at the pictures I was under the assumption it screwed on and off, nope much easier. It has two levers one on each side that you push down on and slide it on or off. Can literally be taken off in a second and put back on in two. I was also very pleased to open the box and find that a battery was included, it's non rechargeable but hey I wasn't expecting one at all since they clearly state battery not included in the description. I am very pleased with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive, durable, super bright weapon light for home defence or any other application.

I bought SyndeRay G01 Cree LED tactical light with strobe for my Beretta PX4. The fit was loose but I was able to tighten it up a bit with a spacer that I made using a small piece of double sticky tape and a piece of a business card. It still has a little play but it is much improved. I just returned from the indoor range where I fired about 60 or 70 rounds through the pistol and the light stayed in place. The lighting at the range isn't all that great. So I can tell you, this little light really lit up the silhouette at about 30 feet nicely. And the strobe works great once you learn how to turn it on. The first full push of the button switch turns on the light. Then a lighter 1/2 push of the button switches the light to strobe. The next full push of the button turns the light off. The strobe pulsates fast. I am sure that (in the dark) it would temporally blind an intruder long enough for you to neutralize the target. I didn't expect much for the price, and I was pleasantly surprised at just how well it performed .I am sure it would fit a Picatinny tactical rail system much better than it fits on the under barrel rail on my Beretta. I rate this tactical light 5 stars "relative to the price" I don't think you will do much better for about 25 bucks.

Look this is a good light overall, and very reasonably priced, but if you are going to carry this in a holster or IWB rig ... even in your waist-band, be aware the stupid black rubber button show on top of the back of the light... falls out of the hole on this thing. The light works great. I tested the strobe on the g/f before mounting it on several of my compact firearms. In a dark room you can't even see the firearm when this thing strobes. It literally blinds you. It mounts well on the Glock 19, Glock 30, Taurus PT111 Millennium G2, but there was not enough clearance from the front of the trigger guard to mount it on the S&W M&P9 Shield or Springfield XDs 9mm even with the rail system on them. So if you have those two pistols expect to be looking for another light. It is extremely bright. The strobe works excellent. I love the way it quickly detaches from the gun by pushing down on the two buttons on the side which are spring-loaded. .... However the designer who decided to put a little adhesive backed piece of plastic on top of the on/off button and slip a rubber cap over it the same size as the hole and expected it to stay put wasn't thinking clearly. I don't even think you can glue it to the button to make it stay in. Pressure will push the little rubber cap aside and it will fall out.

This works perfect for my CZ. It slides on quickly, the only down side is there is no way to adjust the side tension. The side tabs are for the quick release on the perpendicular bar that keeps it from sliding off your rail. The spring feels solid and the metal frame is a plus. I wouldn’t recommend this for a concealment set up since you can’t tighten it down and it is a little large. Though this is perfect for everything else. I bought a rechargeable cr2 for this for an additional $15. $45 total and you have a solid gun light that is super bright, rechargeable, and less than half the price of competition. This is an amazing value and I would highly recommend!

Love this weapons light. Stays on, but is easily removable. Plenty of light. Durable (I've tested this on my shotgun and 9mm pistol. No issues). The only improvement I would make is the on/off switch. Would like it to be ambidextrous, on both sides of the light up against the trigger guard. If you need that, you'll pay 3X.
