Just as expected- rich color!

The purple envelopes I received are much darker than the ones pictured. I had to get a white pen to address them.

These envelopes were perfect. I am in Direct Sales and I wanted my mail to pop out from ordinary mail. I love the color and the quality. Thank you for helping my business stand out.

Very pretty - good price - just more color saturated than anticipated(Note: Wasn’t expecting sheer - just thought would be more lavender but is a darker purple so will need to add separate label for address - plain ink is not very readable for USPO to get to get to correct address…)

I have been using these envelopes for a bit now and I can say they pretty much do their job as an envelope. There are two things about them that do irritate me. One being that my normal everyday Avery address labels do not want to seem to stick to them. I go through and put on several labels, go back to the 1st envelope and the label has started to peel away from the envelope. Why it does this, I don't know, but if I put a heavy book on it for around five minutes they seem to stick fine. My other complaint is that if you plan on metering your mail, you will not really be able to see the red metered mail postage. Due to the dark color of the purple of the envelope, the red metered mail postage just does not show through. The solution to this is to use a metered mail strip to print your postage on, but this adds cost to your bottom line. If you use a regular stamp, there is no problem. Hope this helps

These envelopes were much higher quality, made of heavier and thicker paperweight than I anticipated. Not see through at all and way higher quality than just a colored paper version of a standard white envelope. Pleasantly surprised about that! I was mailing a series of letters that I wanted to ensure would stand out amongst a recipient’s normal stack of mail and I’m confident these fabulous envelopes will do exactly that. Would definitely buy again!One big heads up is that since they are a darker color (like a medium purple hue), if you’re going to write or print directly on the envelope (vs. sticking a label on it), then I suggest using a bolder ink writing tool, such as a Sharpie (which I used and worked great!) or a metallic paint pen. I first tried a regular 0.7mm liquid gel ink pen in both blue ink and black ink, and neither really showed up well on the envelope. So if you’re going to use a regular pen, consider writing on a separate label to then stick on the envelope instead.

I love purple and I like writing letters, I know, archaic, but I'm 70 and old school.I had purple paper and just wanted to have purple envelopes and these fit the bill.Nice quality and you get a LOT for the price.PLUS not that easy finding JUST purple envelopes.Will continue to buy these as long as Amazon carries them!
