I ordered this pillow for my father who is now confined to either a Lay-Z-Boy rocker or bed. As a result, he’s developed a major pressure sore on the edge of his gluteal cleft. This pillow has made a major difference! It’s lightweight for the caregiver, making it easy to carry, adjust position, and move (this is a huge bonus that you won’t understand until you’re a caregiver), and sturdy and purposeful for the user. My dad’s face lit up with excitement and relief when we first positioned him upon it. I gave the “softness” quality three stars because it’s not overly soft — it needs a moderate degree of firmness or the problem it’s meant to help will not be addressed — but that’s the perfect balance of cushiness and density necessary. I would definitely buy more products from this company based on the success of this one.

My sister fell off a ladder and injured her tailbone. Not broken, but very painful. She was using a blowup donut the hospital sent home with her. It gets the job done, but it is very soft. When I sit on it, it goes almost flat. Maybe it should have a weight limit, lol. But, it did help with elevating any discomfort while sitting after my hemorrhoid surgery.

Wife uses it on long trips

I purchashed this cushion while recouping from hip replacement surgery. I was disappointed because the pillow was too hard and not comfortable. When I sat on the pillow it caused pain from the pressure. I decided to keep the pillow until I have less pain while healing.

I purchased this foam pillow to help with coccydynia / coccyx pain / tailbone pain which started about 18 months ago without any particular incident and progressively got worse. I initially tried a different cushion for about 6 months, but it made no difference to the pain level. I had given up on the idea of using a cushion when the physio suggested a donut cushion. I tried this cushion and have found it very helpful in reducing the pain. I use it when sitting down for work, watching TV, sitting down for eating, when driving the car, when travelling by plane and even when sitting on uncomfortable airport chairs. The cushion itself will not cure the pain but it will help in managing it.

The product is not looking the same as it shown in the picture. Too small there is no enough cusion. Not soft. But easy to carry and Not slippery. Cheap velvet material covering as well.
