I too had the same problem as the reviewer that said the belt shredded after 10 min of driving. DO NOT BUY!!

The product is very good, but it is too tight for the GLK350. Installation is a bit difficult.

Shredded and left me stranded on HWY after 1 month of driving. Had it on my Mercedes.

Much better than their cheaper belt
I had to replace my alternator on my 2011 c300 so I replaced the belt, tensioner, and pulleys. A few days after it was installed the belt started to squeak which drove me mad hearing it. I removed the belt and the smooth surfaced idler pulley to find that the steal wiring in the belt was touching the pulley wall. Basically, that belt was not straight and had a point where it was wider causing the belt to snug up against the pulley causing noise. I ordered this as a replacement and it is slightly smaller in width than the previous belt. Pay the extra few dollars to get this belt over the standard continental belt.
