'Samsung 4.5 Cu. Ft. White Top Load Washer'

Who ever wrote the previous review is 100% correct. I have this washer and I am going through the same problem. This is the washer that was recalled. The solution is either fix it and get one year warranty from that date or give you the depreciation amount for it which is not equal to buying a new one. I told them to fix. This took at least 4 months with 3 different technicians trying to do so. After it was fixed, it is still making noise, and stopping in middle of the cycle. It will start washing your clothes, will take all the time necessary to do so, and when done, you will see lot of flashy lights. Once you open it, your clothes will be soaked with water and not done. I usually repeat this process 3 or 4 times, then I would need to change the load, meaning I have to do the current one by hand, and put a smaller one instead, it finally works. I have a son and need to do lot of laundry. I feel that I spend more time with this washer than with my son. This morning, I received a notice in the mail of a Proposed Class Action Settlement against this Samsung top load Washing Machine. You can have more info at: www.washermdlsettlement.comToo bad, I cannot receive any benefit from it because they want documentation of every penny spent.Samsung, please refund me my money so I can buy a new washer. I am not even asking for all the money that I spent washing our clothes outside for the 6 months while this machine got "fixed" the first time.

Machine is a little over 2 years old and we still cannot get the water temperature correct. You get either cold or warm. To get warm you have to turn the cold almost all the way off. Can't get hot at all. Samsung sent a repair service after the first call and he said that was normal after the second call we gave up. Cannot remove the dispenser gray to clean it - only one we can get out is the detergent and the softener is the one that clogs up. The old washer ran a complete cycle in 30 minutes - this takes over an hour. No energy savings there. T ake an old style washer any day over the new ones.

Complete garbage!!!! Less than 2 years old, and the motor burns out... it doesn't move the drum at all.I contacted Samsung to find out that it'll cost $250.00 - $300.00+ just to have a tech come and "look" at it... and that I'll be charged for the parts up front "preorder" and if those aren't the right parts, I'll also be charged for the correct parts... and even better still, the motor & drum are sold as 1 unit at $300 - $400 a pop... so, the initial cost just to have the tech come and "look" at the machine is more than I paid for the machine itself!!! So... I will be taking my money elsewhere & you should too!!! Samsung needs to stick too what their good at "cell phones"

Just awful. Gets stuck all the time. Refuses to run the cycle. No way to restart other than unplug, wait a while and hope for the best. If you enjoy watching flashing lights while a washer ineffectually squirts tiny bit of water back on your clothes when it is supposed to be in spin cycle, this is the washer for you. Otherwise buy anything else. Or consider using the stomping clothes in the bathtub method. It would likely be both quicker and easier.

Unlike the old maytag this replaced, these really aren't repairable. Stopped spinning out clothes. Apparently this is common and the wires are literally shaken off the starting capacitor. Fixed and it worked for about a month, now the same thing, only the wires are fine. It's a poor design, when spinning it bangs around and thrashes about so it's easy to see how it could shake things apart. Basically it's disposable.

Bought, delivered, and installed by LOWES. Does not spin out. Trying to return it now. Don't waste your time on this.
