SYNC Kinetic USB Rechargeable Bike Tail Light

I like the size, weight and flashing brightness/modes. Battery life is okay in the normal blinking modes, but if you turn on Kinetic mode (the feature where it detects your inertia change from stopping and the light comes on solid for a period of time light stop lights on a car), the battery life plunges to 20% of that when Kinetic mode is off.

It used to have great battery life but a little over a month later is half what it used to be. The lights no longer communicate with my phone. I tried a different phone and they still wont transmit what the current battery % is. The phone features are the main reason I bought the lights and that no longer works.

I bought a front and rear rechargeable set for after work rides in fall and winter when it gets dark early. The lights arrived in nice packaging and were easy to set up. Both are very bright and help me to achieve the visibility that I need on suburban roads. Both are easy to charge. They both have plenty of settings for brightness and flashing. My only compliant is that the on off switch on the rear light is cheap - its a little rubberish switch that falls off. I am using a paper clip to turn the light on and off, which is kinda of annoying.
