Good stuff right here 👌🏼
New betta mama here. I tried a different pellet variety from Aqueon based of various suggestions but my guy looked personally offended by trying to feed them to him lol. I thought maybe he’s not a pellet guy (he loves Omega’s salmon flakes). Ordered these on a whim and after soaking them for a bit and feeding, he gobbled these right up. It was cute to watch but a testament to the quality. I compared ingredients with the Aqueon pellets and am realizing why my guy was offended 😆

These are REGULAR size pellets. Good for full-grown bettas.
So... I bought these by mistake, because the ad shows a picture of the "Small Pellets" container, and that's what I thought I was getting. I've got four bettas. One is older (adopted 7 months ago), and he loved these regular sized pellets. The other three are much younger (adopted 2 months ago) and none of them can eat these. They try, but they end up spitting them back out. I later ordered the "small pellets" as well, but they are ridiculously tiny (pictures for comparison). They are useless, unless you're feeding fry or "baby bettas". The bst pellet size out there is Omega One Betta Buffet.

My betta likes this food very much. I hope to keep it on his menu.
I am a novice aquarium owner so I will NOT attempt to comment on anything about this food beyond what I can observe. My fish readily eats this food – which I appreciate. Through the years I have had some fish who were very picky eaters; this betta is not one of those. I do notice there are some foods he will eat more readily than others, though. I do offer four or five different foods, rotating each day – this one served every four or fifth day, that is. He is doing well and the aquarium is healthy; so, I hope to keep this on his menu. I welcome the advice of more experienced ichthyologists.

Great product, I just have a picky fish
I loved the idea of this food and the contents of it. Unfortunately my fish didn’t like it the pebbles were a little too big for my betta I tried to crush them some but became too small and pointless. The pebbles are pretty hard and big so probably much better for bigger bettas or bigger fish.

Recommended food by many betta groups
I purchased this food as it was one of a few recommended on more than one betta groups as being a high-quality, food consisting of primarily krill, squid and fish protein. It also does not contain carcinogenic preservatives (BHT, BHA, Ethoxyquin), or dicalcium phosphate and high plant matter (all typically found in many flakes and pellets and causes constipation). My female was starting to get a bit bloated on the lower-quality food I was feeding prior (despite rotating between pellets and live mosquito larva, daphnia and detritus worms). A couple of weeks on this food (in rotation with live) and she's no longer bloated and her appetite and activity have increased. I have a pretty large male and female, and purchased Regular size, which has been fine but I wish I had gotten small. If I let them soak first, when my bettas eat them they end up having crumbs shoot out of their gills (reminds me of laughing while eating Saltines). If I don't soak them, they're getting quite a bit of compact dry food in one bite.

Larger than expected
Seems like a good quality food, but please note that this is for the regular size, not the small size as pictured. I would recommend this for an older/larger betta, not a young one.

Brought our fish back from the brink of death
My son wanted a fish for his 5th birthday, so we got him a Betta and some TopFin pellets from PetSmart. After several days, it was clear that "Ponyo" was not eating his pellets. They just sunk to the bottom. I thought maybe he would prefer flakes, so I bought some of those. Nope. Ponyo continued his hunger strike and started to become lethargic. We tried heating the tank and taking out the filter so the water movement didn't bother him, but still he just sat behind his heater, barely moving all day. I thought for sure he would be belly up in no time and we'd have a sad 5 year old. After doing more research, I found these pellets and the reviews looked great so I figured I'd give them a try. Within a few days of starting these pellets, Ponyo started to perk up. Over time he has become more and more active. When you come up to the tank, he swims right over and tries to attack you. Today, for the first time in 6 weeks, we put the pellets in and he swam right up to the top and gobbled them up, which delighted my son. I'm so glad we found this food- he is like a totally new fish!

Some pieces are bigger than others. Betta spit them out.
My two Bettas spit them out. They rejected this food completely. Some pieces are bigger than others and those I had to scoop out of tank they were obviously to big for them to eat. Money down the drain with this food. I wish I had listened to the other reviews that mentioned this problem. The food is badly sized and very hard. Will never recommend this food to anyone.

5 star with caveat…
My very small boy loves these but despite the picture advertising these as being small, I received Regular size which are really much bigger than he is use to and they are not easy to cut in half 😂😂 so if you think you will get small pellets you may be disappointed. Being in the U.K and waiting a considerable time for their arrival it was a bit of a let down and not really practical to return them. I am however getting quite adept at cutting them in half, still have all my fingers… and no, a pill cutter doesn’t work. As for the food’s quality, second to none in my boys opinion.

Great for picky bettas
Great betta food. My betta is do picky. I gave him different types of pellets, and flakes turns his nose. He only ate live food. Based on the 5 star review on betta life spectrum pellets, i bought them. My picky betta LOVES it. He is finally eating. Only complain is that the container amount is large. Hopefully the my bettas are able to consume it before it goes stale.

Best pellet I have found
My betta loves this food. He gets 2 other types of dry food, and frozen or live food, but this seems to be a favourite. I like that the first ingredient is krill.

Exactly what I ordered
Nothing wrong with product but my bettas are too picky to try them

Buy something else
This food was garbage. It didn't come sealed and it smells really bad. Not worth the price. My fish swim away from it.
