You Make Me Better

Let me start by saying I am no stranger to this author I've read multiple books of hers but this by far is the best book I've read it touches subjects that people are scared to touch It was written well you could feel the pain but you could also feel the happiness. This is a definitely must read and I think I'm going to read it again just to make sure I didn't miss anything.♥️♥️♥️

Nathan found his destiny when he met Kallie. Within moments of meeting, she went off on him; not allowing him to bully her. Nathan hailed from a troubled childhood that caused him to become bitter, hurt, and angry. After meeting Kallie, Nathan began to see that she made his life better. With Kallie by his side, he is able to begin the hard work of building a foundation of love for the women in his life. I wasn’t ready for the book to end. However, I always love a good epilogue and this one didn’t disappoint.

Kallie saw the grumpy man was attracted to him at first glance even with his attitude. For Nathan, it was the first interaction when she went off on him for how he was talking to their client. Kallie is an interior designer and Nathan is a contractor, their first encounter was at their client's home. From that first encounter, every bump into one another was a step in their love story but baby both of these two were stubborn! Kallie was so silly for how she reacted after their first date and I’m glad Nathan didn’t let her go after they bumped into each other at the gala. Even after the blowup in his office, I’m so glad they came back around. Nathan had a lot of family drama he was dealing with and didn’t want that to be at the front of his relationship with Kallie. Kallie also had to realize what Nathan was dealing with in the beginning was none of her business and she can’t be mad at him for not sharing or handling it how he chose to handle it. He eventually did let her in because just like he was his mom's light Kallie brought light into his life and made him want more! I loved the friendship between Shayla and Kallie and Shayla's daughter also brought sweet moments onto the page! The story written in the third person wasn’t my favorite because it became a lot of personalities to keep up with. I loved the epilogue and it gave me everything I needed! This story was a lot different from the others I have read. I still enjoyed it but it was a little darker and not as sweet. Plus it was in third person throughout and I prefer her first person pov bouncing between the two main characters. This one also wasn't as steamy but I think it's an earlier book. Still very enjoyable.

Yup I'm back with another review for another amazing love story by the beautiful Ashley Nicole. Kellie and Nathan were most definitely made for each other. I loved the fact that he recognized that she made him better,that she calmed him. Her honesty is what got him and kept him coming back, among other things. I was glad him and his mom were able to work through there issues and she finally found her voice and strength to leave her husband. Great read, you won't be disappointed.

This book was ok. The part that I didn't like was the fact that Nathan came from a violent family and Kallie kept hitting him. To me that was not cool. I've enjoyed most of this writers book but this was. the only one I have had problems with.

Nathan and Kallie were a force together. She brought him calm and peace and challenged him when he was being mean and stubborn. Their relationship wasn’t without its troubles but third times the charm and they made it work. Their love was beautiful and the affection Nathan showed Kallie was adorable especially coming from a man whose main emotion was anger and indifference. Yet another great book by this author.

I really enjoyed this book. If you are reading the reviews to ascertain whether you should read this book, the answer is yes. Purchase and read.
