Fancy Nancy's Perfectly Posh Paper Doll Book

''This book is just for fun. Very cute. Can't wait to play with it. I am 83 years Young and still love paper dolls.

I bought these to encourage my kids to use scissors. They were well loved and good quality.

The paper dolls were not as I expected. As other reviewers mentioned, the clothing pieces have to be cut out by an adult and this process is time-consuming as the designs are intricate. They are even hard for an adult to cut out. The tabs on the clothing, accessories do not allow the clothes to stay on the dolls. All in all, the set was disappointing.

Adorable but a lot of work cutting for parents. Detailed clothing means no little hands with scissors. These clothes are NOT punch out style which I wad hoping for.

My daughter loved these! They were very nice and were very good for those beginning to cut out paper dolls. They had some difficult places, but there were enough easy places to keep you encouraged and to make it enjoyable. Great starting place for girls who are interested in paper dolls!

Very very pleased with my purchase. My 7 year old granddaughter was thrilled with her birthday present. I chose because - who doesn't love Fancy Nancy!? The figure is so sweet and the fashion is just beautiful. Would definitely buy again.

I should have read the reviews! (Interesting that there are over 400 positive ratings, but only 108 reviews, most of which are negative.) The illustrations in the book are darling, but the product itself, which says it is for children ages 4-8, is terrible. The dolls are flimsy and won't stand up unless you are super super careful with them. The dolls are the only things that are perforated; the clothes all have to be cut out. There is no way most children ages 4-8 would be able to cut these out carefully enough to allow them to function on the paper dolls. Once you get the clothes on, they won't stay on unless you use the tiny white circle stickers that the book provides. These stickers are too tiny for my careful 5 year old girl to use. The accessories are a great idea but they are one time use stickers. They will curl up if you try to use them again and it causes alot of wear and tear to the dolls when you try to remove them. The reviewer who mentioned that the shoes wouldn't fit was trying to put a pair of Nancy's shoes on Bree. The clothes and accessories are not interchangeable between the two characters because they will not fit. I agree with another reviewer that Nancy has some nice fancy dresses but all of Bree's clothes are more casual. I wish Bree had some fancier dresses also. This would be best for older girls who are very patient and careful, or for adults, but it will be frustrating for younger children!
