Nice addition to my other Pet Information books.

It's okay, a lot of other care books for rats are worse. Mice and rats may look the same but they are very different and this book kinda ties them together. Dormice? Yeah, they keep bringing them up but why? You really going to write a book about two terrestrial rodents and then throw in an arboreal one... It would have been better to tie them to tree rats or squirrels.

this book gave me a good overview of the various aspects of keeping Rats, Mice, and/or Dormice as pets. Did a good job of explaining the essentials like daily care and health. Also, went the extra mile to include some information about rodent fancy and rodent shows. All in all a good owner's guide.

I needed a good starting book for mice for my classroom's future pets. This had just about every question answered that I could ask.
