Best Fishing bag for me because I can sling it on my left shoulder and have no pressure from the bag (or vest. or pack, etc) on my right (casting) shoulder. Can be slung on either shoulder, depending on your preference. Holds a ton of stuff. It is the best I have tried by far. Sold my Confluence after one outing with this Fisk Bag. Great bag, period.

I love this fishing bag! It is really a modern fishing creel unlike anything else I have seen. It slings over one shoulder and has a strap for your waist. When you need to access the contents it is easy to slid around and open and then slide back out of the way. It has an internal large pocket and an external pocket which is big enough to hold several large fly boxes. Both zippers are waterproof. In addition to the larger pockets it has two side pockets with magnetic closures which are perfect for leaders or smaller fly boxes. The top is a large flap (with a drying patch) which also has several magnetic closures and a stout rubber handle for carrying. The middle compartments are quite large and can easily hold a fair amount of gear, lunch and a water bottle. The rod holder feature is especially ingenious - you place the butt of your rod in the loop and clip the holder around your rod and both hands are available to tie on a fly or untangle a snarled leader. This feature can be moved to either side of the bag for left or right handers. The bag is attractive enough that it could do double duty as a satchel when the river is iced over. It is very well built (made in the USA!) and should last many years.

I had 1...now I own 3. That pretty much says it, awesome bag. Every detail in this bag has been worked out. It has a classic look, not like a military special units tech bag like you see too much of. This bag looks great, is super tough, expands to the storage if you need it, and fits and hangs really well. I use both the shoulder and waist strap, lets me push the bag to my hip or back really easy and keeps it snug up next to me, spins back to the front for access very quickly. Just the right amount of pockets, not too many that fill up with stuff that you can't find when you need it. Like I said I had one, now I have 3. I'm doing away with storage totes for each type of fishing and have just moved to 1 bag for each type. It holds everything and I can just grab and go.

This bag is so well designed and so well made that it's incredible! All made in America which is nice as well. It seems to have everything anyone would need for fishing - but I use mine everyday to go to work. It holds an amazing amount of "stuff" and there always seems to be room for more. There are great pockets inside and out with waterproof zippers and waterproof canvas. The adjustable strap is perfect! It can be on the shoulder or be a cross strap. It's also great for that airline carry on bag because, again, it holds an amazing amount of "stuff"! Absolutely, everyone should own one or two!"""

Awesome fishing creel!! It’s simple and convenient and very functional. The hands-free rod holder is excellent. That, coupled with the little magnetized fly holder is ingenious! Ever tried changing flies in the middle of a stream with mosquitos buzzing around your head? This bag holds on to everything leaving both hands free to find a new fly and swat. Ever hooked your lip holding a fly in your mouth? The magnet secures both the fly you are cutting off and the new one you are tying on. Nice easily accessible pockets for tools and fly boxes. C. Lloyd
