Awesome worth the money super number one A ok
It’s a great sculpt, what I’m assuming from the other bad reviews is that the previous Buyers are too good to have to clean up their own miniatures or just to dumb to know that plastic miniatures like this that come pre-assembled can have a space or two and mold lines that need cleaned up no big deal. It takes 5 min to make these look awesome and they take paint great. I prime mine even though Reaper says you don’t have to I still do.So morale of the story dont give bad reviews just because your lazy and don’t wanna do a bit of work. I’ll post a photo of the 4 I ordered this time once I paint em.

Nice
The miniature arrived as pictured without paint, thick plastic. The packagingit was packed in was crushed. The mini fell right out into the bag when I opened it but there was no damage to the miniature itself. It was poorly packaged or mishandled. I'm not sure which but the product arrived safe and unmarred. I am looking forward to painting it. Details are nice for plastic.

Great Concept, Poorly Executed
I purchased this when there was only one other review. it was a 2/5 start rating that warned about poor assembly and mold lines. I had hoped that this was a one off issue for an unfortunate individual and I would not likewise be disappointed, I was wrong. The Good, Bad, and Ugly:The GOOD:-This is a large and imposing figure on any roleplaying table. If you are using other 28mm figures this troll towers over them and visually shows how threatening trolls can be.- The figure has a slight lean forward and hunch in its back that makes it look like it is staring down and the buny adventurers that have dared to stand before it.-There is an great level of detail in the sculpt, it has a great texture that easily differentiates the skin, cloth, and gems.-I really like the style of art used here. It is a great representation of trolls in my opinion as it ties in a feeling of nature, a hulking and imposing figure, and is realistic in proportions and features. Often times trolls can be portrayed as cartoony with over exaggerated features and I like this sculpt over the gangely and thin forms seen elsewhere. The BAD:-The figure I received was covered in what I consider to be an egregious amount of mold lines. It seems as if nothing was done to mitigate or remove the mold lines before being sent out. It was a chore chasing down the lines through the gems on the figures back and I cannot understand why they chose to place the mold lines in this area.-The Figure is advertised, and this is backed up on packaging the figure came in, as being primed and paint ready. I saw no evidence that this figure had been primed and after cutting away the mold lines with an exacto knife and sanding areas down, saw no difference from the cut plastic and the untouched plastic which confirmed for me that this figure was not pre-primed.The UGLY,-As stated in the previous review, the assembly of this figure is a mess. There were massive gaps between both shoulders and the the body where the arms were attached. It appears that this could have been mitigated if they were attached with a little more patience time was taken to line the parts up properly. I tried to remove the arms from the body to see if I could re set the arms in a way that closed this gap but the bonding was already cured and set. I wish that the figure came disassembled so I could have taken steps to prevent this issue. Instead I has to spend HOURS filling the expanse with filler and then filing and sanding to get the texture to match the details around the arms.-The figure does not fit to its base. In my experience it was not even close. The feet themselves have these large blocky protrusions on the bottom meant to fit to a base the figure comes with but they seem to get more in the way than anything else. I tried reshaping these pieces to get them to fit will together but the process was difficult due to the hardness of the plastic used and I determined it was not worth the effort to attach it to a decidedly generic looking base. I ended up creating a custom base built up from a spare Nolzur's disc base I had on hand.In summary, this figure has a great design and concept but poor execution and assembly. As this is figure is above average in cost for most miniatures I would have expected that this premium equaled higher quality and I was wrong. If you buy this figure, expect to have to put a lot of work in just to make this product serviceable.

Ugly Beautiful
Who says trolls can’t be pretty? This guy turned out so good! It is definitely a face that only a mother could love but look at how great the mini is. The detail is amazing!

Great model - rotten fabrication
Like others have said, this model requires a lot of clean up work. There are large gaps between the arms and the torso and also a hole in the side which I filled in with Green Stuff. Lots of mold lines that needed neatening up. But the worse part was that the feet of the model (which have extensions on the bottom) are supposed to fit into foot holes in the base but they don't fit. I'm going to have to make a custom base for this because the one provided just doesn't work. Other than that, it's a great model. I love the crystals growing out of the trolls back and arms.

An impressive model with massive issues
Thus far, I haven't been disappointed by any of the new Reaper Bones Black models, all of them having fantastic detail, next to no mold lines and fun to paint. I don't know what happened when this model was assembled, presumably in China, but the arm was not correctly attached, there were large mold lines across both sides of the miniatures, and the feet did not fit onto its base. I ended up spending 4 hours sanding down all the mold lines, filling gaps with green stuff, and doing what I can to better the model. The material its made of is. thankfully, easier to work with than old school bones material, and has taken paint very well without issue. It's just a shame that these premium models made with higher quality plastic wasn't well assembled before shipped out. Thankfully the most recent model in the Black Bones line haven't repeated these issues.

Not for a beginner,
Lots of Mold Lines to fix and lots of Green stuff to us to fill in holes, I worked on Mold lines for 2-3 days then worked on filling the holes with green stuff for another 2 days
