I debated and researched so many yoga towels before purchasing this towel. I currently own this in the grey as well as a Manduka yogitoes towel, and I actually prefer this one. I practice vinyasa flow (often heated classes) 4+ times a week, so I get some serious sweating done most of this time, and while the sweat absorption of the two towels is comparable (yogitoes is probably a little better), the deal breaker is that this towel doesn't bunch up or move during my practice. I get distracted when my yogitoes towel bunches under my feet when I flip my toes in chaturganga flows (i've given up and now fold it above my feet on the mat), but this towel has minimal movement. The pockets for the corner of the mat are great. If you ball it up or fold it after class it might not be completely dry by the next day, but I usually wash it anyway. Plus, it doesn't have any special washing instructions so I can just throw it in with the rest of my laundry when I wash things. I highly recommend this product.

I have only used the towel twice, but so far I am pleased by the quality and performance. The towel is thin, which is both a benefit and a downside. The thin fabric makes it lightweight and easier to fit into my bag--so that's a benefit. But it doesn't offer much in the way of cushioning--so that's a downside.Unlike many reviewers, absorbency isn't a big issue for me since I am using it for tranquility-style yoga rather than hot yoga or anything else that generates much sweat. Even so, I have found that this towel is a huge improvement over a bare yoga mat. It fits just fine, even with my mat still having a slight roll at one end. It hasn't budged at all--and that's without fussing with a pre-yoga spray as suggested. And when I do have an occasional sweaty palm, the towel provides an ideal surface for keeping me in place. Those little ears are more secure than the pictures would suggest.Bottom line: this towel raised my yoga experience from a 7 to a 9. It feels so much better than a bare mat and doesn't fold, bunch, or shift the way a regular cotton towel does. Personally, I would take the extra bulk and weight to gain more cushioning. But others are sure to appreciate the compact design.

Slips horribly and does not fit a standard mat size. If you have a longer and wider mat, it might work better for you.

I bought this for yoga based on the review but for me it performed terribly! While the pockets were great for keeping it flat on the mat, the microfiber material of this particular towel is extremely slippery! I kept having to spray it during the middle of class (which is incredibly disruptive) because I could not get enough grip even to just hold downward facing dog. Retiring this towel after just one use, it's not worth the trouble.

In theory this mat was great. In actuality it did not quite work out. The corner covers seemed like a great idea, but the towel was about 2 inches longer than any of my yoga mats so it did not really provide any benefit. The first time I used it, the towel moved around continuously and I had to keep adjusting it to keep it from bunching up. The following times, I tried to wet the mat a good bit to keep it from moving. This helped, but it still did not cut it and I often had to adjust my poses so the mat would not move or bunch. I have another yoga towel with a waffle-weave and silicone grippers that I like much more than this one, and rarely (if ever) have to adjust it. I will say, that this towel is very soft so I will probably keep it for a sweat towel, but I will probably leave it off my yoga mat.

Very prompt delivery with nice package. Great product, it does not move and twisted, it stays still on the yoga mat despite of the my moves, the "ears" is a the great design!! it absorb sweat quickly, light-weighted. easy to carry.

I'm torn in half writing this review. Part of me wants to give five stars, because the Tenchi "ears" (little pockets on the back of the towel that you slip your mat into) are honestly one of the best innovations for a yoga towel I've ever seen. The towel DOES. NOT. MOVE. during my Bikram practice. This is a huge deal for me, since I almost always have to adjust my towel at least a couple of times during class (a fidget I can't stop!). Towel staying in place: five stars.I did not have any issue with my feet slipping while on this towel. Slip resistance: five stars.My only complaint about the towel is that, while it is GOOD, the absorbency of this towel is not the best I've seen in a yoga towel. I am being a little nitpicky here, and it wouldn't stop me from buying another and/or recommending this product to a friend, but when you compare the absorbency of this towel to that of the Manduka eQua towel, the eQua definitely wins out. I'm not saying this towel is terrible for sweat absorption, because it's not, it's just not quite as good. Absorption: four stars.Good product, and definitely a great deal for the price. One of the most reasonably priced yoga towels. I'd definitely recommend to anyone.Now if only we could somehow combine the two towels!

PERFECT!It is an excellent mat and highly recommended. It is SUPER absorbent and I never slip again during my hot yoga session. In addition, with the Tenchi ears system, the towel stay put on the mat as I change positions. I absolutely love it and now it is a must have for my yoga session.
