Lithium-ion coin batteries will likely destroy your electronics
The item description for the batteries is extremely nonchalant about how dangerous these batteries are: most coin cell electronics expect voltage ranges of ~2.5V-3.6V, and while this listing does note a nominal voltage of 3.6V, a nominal voltage is not a maximum voltage, and the maximum voltage these batteries reach is much higher, at just over 4.2V. Electronics rated for a maximum voltage of 3.6V (expecting a typical lithium - not lithium-ion - battery with a nominal voltage of 3.0V) will likely be killed immediately when you put this battery in.I should have known better, since I have some electronics background, but I made the mistake of putting one of these batteries into my heart rate monitor, killing it dead on the spot. No, switching to regular batteries will not revive it -something didn't like the extra 1.2 volts and died immediately.These batteries are dangerously labeled. I'd strongly urge you to avoid using these unless the above all makes sense, and you're laughing and saying "haha, what an idiot!". If that's not the case, don't use these batteries! You're risking whatever you put them into.
