For 2 years I have been saying I need to get my dog shaved down for summer. This year I decided to finally decided to just get some pet clippers and do it myself. Dog is a 55lb mutt with a lot of hair so I was afraid of going too cheap and getting a pair that didn't do the job. I took a chance on these based on other reviews and I am really happy. I ran them for about half an hour and the battery was still up around 80% (love having the live battery meter too!). Multiple speeds is great, unit is quiet. Going a half an hour and honestly the handle was comfortable to hold the whole time. Definitely recommend.

does not cut my dogs hair very good

This clippers is great. I have a Poochon and she has some serious fur and curls to get through. This clipper was amazing. It went through her fur just slick. Works really really well.
