Charles River Apparel Women's Chatham Anorak

I bought this jacket as a gift so I cannot speak to the durability of this jacket, but I will say that it seems great. The lilac color is not too flashy and the lining is like a t-shirt material. It seems really comfy but not too heavy. The sweatshirt pocket in front is nice and the zipper pocket would be perfect for keys or your phone. The sizing seems to be a big topic of debate so I will give a solid description-- I ordered both a large and a medium, but I ended up cancelling the medium because the large fit perfectly and I think a medium would be too small. I typically wear a large size in a women's top and this jacket fit perfectly if I did not intend to wear a sweatshirt underneath. If I were to wear a sweatshirt underneath it would likely be too tight in the lower abdomen and hip areas so I would size up. The arms give plenty of room without looking too big. The length is longer in back which is ideal for a wind jacket. I am 5ft 8" tall and wear a size 14 in jeans. If my hips were wider I would need an XL-- my hips measure 47 inches. Because this is a gift I won't be able to provide much feedback on wind or water resistance but can update later on.So in summary for my purposes (moderate build and chest size) I would say sizing was quite accurate and if one does not plan to layer anything bulky underneath then I would order your normal size.

I really love this. I exchanged it for a large just because I like it loose, but M would have been fine. I'm 5' 5 - 145 - it's nice and long, but not too long. It's got a nice lining, not flimsy like many of these. Pocket is HUGE - you could put your lunch in it!! Hood it perfect, too - especially if you forget your umbrella which I generally do. Rolls up easy or lies flat. Good choice if you want a heavy coat with you and also a not so heavy pullover like this for rain for those less cold days.

Perfect windbreaker!!! It’s lightweight, lined and the sleeves on the inside are a slick so it’s easy to get on and off. The pouch with the zipper is big and then also has pockets (behind the pouch). The bottom and hood have adjustable elastic cord are great but one side of the hood broke. I wore this in 20 mph wind and it was worth every penny!!

Very good quality jacket. However a Men's 2x fits perfectly in the chest but tight on the lower half when I sit down. A Womens 3x fits well in the chest but balloons out below the waist, which I can minimize somewhat with the elastic drawstring. I suspect that a Womens 2x would be too tight in the chest.

Excellent product. Comfortable anorak. Waterproof and windproof. Nice soft lining. And a very unusual design for a windbreaker. Delivery on time. 5 out of 5.

I love these pullover hoodies!they are lined, have a pocket to keep your cellphone in. They are waterproof and are just the perfect weight and warmth. I wear them fall to spring. I have the grey stripped and polka dot. I wish the polka dot came in other colors. The zipper is good quality and the hood is an added bonus. They are an all round good lightweight pullover.

I was unsure of the stripes, and the somewhat nylon-y appearing fabric, but i popped it on to see anyways. Wow, its so comfy. The smoothe inner sleeve lining lets you glide it on, and the tshirt lining on the body is comfy and warm enough without bulk. Bit of rustle-y noise, but its a rain jacket, and expected. The fit is super, happily the sleeves are long enough, and it is wide enough across the widest part of my hips and butt! And it covers my butt! And the pockets are located comfortably forward, not on the side seam, and not awkwardly high or low. If the hood had a little extension beak, and maybe slightly snugger elastic cuffs, it would be perfect, but its very comfy and wearable as is. I will be stoked if it keeps rain off on dog walks too!

Nice lightweight jacket. Lightly lined too, so it’s soft. I would recommend going up a size if you need to layer it. I’m 5’6”, weigh 145 and bought a large. I would wear a sleeveless or light top underneath. It might be snug with a full shirt.
