Easy to clean and portable and good quality tea filter

Glass feels nice and sturdy, and the filter design is great!The rubber seal attaches to the canister rather than the filter, which makes it easier to stay sealed. The filter is also designed well with holes all over, which allows for a good drainage. This is my fourth brewing bottle, so I can say that I think this part will hold up very well.The "cup" part where you pour your leaves, is not double walled. Be on the lookout because that can get really hot. This is design oversight that is very common. Normally, however, the brew cup is pretty small so the risk is small, but this one is quite large, allowing for you to use as an infuser as well.One nitpick I have is that the filter drops low into the glass. So after you brew your tea to the proper time, and flip over, you have to remove it immediately, because the tea is still in contact with the water, unless you have the water level really low. That's my only nitpick, because sometimes I want to keep the tea sealed and hot, but I don't want to brew anymore.UPDATE: this is NOT a product defect, just a small warning to people who use it. The double wall glass is very durable, but there is a weak point. The bottom of the inside wall is on the thinner side. I was washing the dishes today, and dropped my metal chopsticks in to soak. Obviously the chopsticks came down to a point, and since they were metal they were heavy. It cracked the bottom of the inner wall. Now this is not normal usage, this occurred when I was washing it, so it's not a product issue. That said, I do want to warn people when cleaning to not drop things that come to a point, such as chopsticks, knives, or the stem side down of a fork or spoon. Metal chopsticks and knives probably are the most dangerous.That said, I DID enjoy the product a lot, so I will be reordering after the US election to avoid tying up the postal system. Though, depending on the results, I might end up ordering an alcohol flask instead....

So, it seems, based on many of the reviews and questions/answers, that not everyone realizes how this thing is meant to be used. It also doesn't help that the seller doesn't do the greatest job of explaining on this product page.The following obviously isn't the *only* way to use it but is the original purpose of this design. All the other ways are just a bonus and why it's such a great, versatile item.This thing is meant to be a really easy, flip-over tea infuser. You:1. put the leaves in the small glass end (it isn't a cup for hot tea, but you could certainly use it as one with any non-hot drink),2. screw the middle piece on with the metal mesh strainer going into the small end (or long end if you'd like room for more leaves and/or whatever else- but then you may end up with too long a steep, depending on how you use it),3. screw the double-walled bottle with boiling water in it onto the other end,4. and let it sit with the small, tea leaf end facing down on a table to steep.5. As soon as it's done steeping, just flip it over! Voilà ! Done.6. To drink, unscrew the middle, black portion off the longer, bottle end and drink straight from the glass bottle.No need to get up and empty anything out or remove the strainer or drink tea that's been steeping too long or have to find a place to put a used tea bag/strainer.Other positive notes:- The mesh strainer part *is* removable from the middle, black piece that each end screws onto. Good for cleaning and such. When pushing it back into the rubbery seal, you have to use a tiny bit of force, which tells me it'll have a really solid seal and will definitely stay in place during use.- Comes with an outer sleeve!I ordered this as a gift for a friend, but I loved it so much, I just ordered two more (another gift and one for me).

Bit leaky, also the top isn’t double walled so it gets scalding instantly. It feels very dangerous. The steeper handles the size of my tea well enough, but one has to be pretty careful using this thing.

I’m a huge tea drinker and always looking for convenient ways to steep, drink and carry my tea with me on the go and this tea water bottle steeper is absolutely perfect for it! Works great! Doesn’t leak! Can withstand boiling water! Stylist! And has a strainer with small enough holes in it you can have any size loose leaf tea you want in it! And it’s adorable!Absolutely worth it! I wish I had a video or picture to show along with this review.

WARNING: Throw away the wrist strap immediately. Under normal loads, it fails at the rivet where the material is thinnest. Strap material / construction is inappropriate for this application.My bottle spontaneously fell to the floor and shattered when the strap came apart at the rivet. Fortunately, the bottle was empty and the neoprene sleeve contained almost all the glass.Amazon sent me a free replacement. This time, I tested the strap to see if the first was a fluke.It was not. The second strap - mailed almost one month later - came apart under tension one would expect when carrying a glass bottle full of water.Moral of the story: Use a different wrist strap or carry it by the fabric loop stitched to the neoprene sleeve.That said…This is a lovely bottle. As a white dude in the US, I've never seen a product like it before. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone who likes tea and wants to bring it out into the world with them.

It has a washable neoprene removable cover not in pic. It is sturdy and functional. With extra hot drinks, the cover comes in handy.
