Jerky Dogs Treats, Chicken, 24 oz. Pouch

Our little guy has never been food or treat motivated, but he is toy motivated. He will do anything for his favorite toys, but does not get excited about eating.Until now... the Chicken Jerky is absolute crack for him. He will do anything for his jerky. He runs to his crate as soon as we open the bag at night. It has also made training much easier. He is so focused on the jerky, the rest of the world fades away. That is unusual since he normally has the attention span of a gnat with ADD.In addition to being his favorite treat, it is also great for his luxating patella. He was already on two supplement but this has definitely improved his overall joints. His knee has not popped out of joint since we started him on Happy Hips.We have tried other brands and even other meat versions of Happy Hips, but his favorite is definitely chicken.The only drawback is the bag does not always seal correctly so the jerky gets hard very fast. We typically put the jerky in a gallon sized zip lock baggie and it stays fresh longer.

BOUGHT TWO OF THESE PRODUCTS. HAD ONE SENT DIRECTLY TO ME FOR OUR DOG AND ANOTHER SENT OUT OF TOWN TO A FAMILY THERE DOG. I CALLED THEM TODAY AND ADVISED THEM NOT TO GIVE THEIR DOG ONE OF THEM AS TODAY I OPENED PACKAGE AND GAVE ONE TO OUR OLD DOG. BOUGHT THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE CALLED HAPPY HIPS WITHOUT ANY GRAIN. CONTAINING CLUCOSAMINE AND CHONDRITIN THAT IS GOOD FOR HEALTHY BONES. WELL, MY DOG NEARLY CHOKED ONE ONE SMALL BIT. THE PACKAGE ON LINE SHOWS 'BACON STRIP' PIECES. KNOWING ABOUT ANOTHER PRODUCT CALLED 'BACON BITES' THAT ARE SOFT....HAPPY HIPS ARE SOOOOO HARD...EVEN TO BREAK INTO A SMALL PIECE. WOULD RETURN BUT THE PACKAGE IS ALREADY OPEN. ADVISE NOT TO BUY UNLESS THE ONES WE RECEIVED ARE NOT FRESH.

Originally I was buying a more pricey brand that my 14 yr old chihuahua absolutely loves. My lil guy is an extremely picky eater & has medical problems so I try to get him something healthy w/lots of flavor (chicken). After his morning meds, I let him pick what treat he wants but he only gets to choose 1 of 3 treats. The mass majority of the times he chooses the Happy Hips. Normally he gets 2-3 treats a day & I always make sure I have a good variety for him to choose from & if the Happy Hips Jerky isn’t one of them he just stares at me as if to say “ uh excuse me, where’s the jerky?”. As soon as I grab the bag of Jerky he gets really excited with his tail wagging at top speed and I know exactly what he wants. The Jerky is a little expensive but less expensive then the Dogs Well & both have the glucosamine & chondroitin along w/the good flavor & he loves both brands equally. He loves the Happy Hips, & the price works for me. **Added Benefit- Even though my lil guy has a few missing teeth he can still eat these Jerky’s with no problem, they are the hard jerky not the soft & chewy ones.**

My older 7 yr old Yorkie Emmie, loves these! Thank God! I didn't realize these were so hard! But she chews them down even so. Normally she doesn't like the harder treats but good thing she loves these cause she was having a hard time moving like her normally fast active self this year so I looked for items to help her. Finally third item was a charm she didn't like the other items I tried before probably cause they stinker to high heaven lol. But even my 2 year old chi mix loves these but she only gets them once in a while cause I give her other treats instead while giving my Yorkie these cause she needs them more. Have seen a big difference in her within 3 days of using. Will keep buying if price doesn't go too high.

My dog is extremely picky when it comes to food and treats. She's basically a cat.This is one of the only treats she will eat that's not pure meat. I like how the ingredient list isn't a mile long and it doesn't have any added sugar or high glucose corn syrup. I won't even eat that crap so I'm definitely not giving it to my dog! Most treats have some sort of sweeteners added to them but not this one so I appreciate that. After 10 years of trying an enormous variety of treats, this one is the one she will always go for. My dog is an Australian Shepherd and has arthritis in his hips. Before this product, he could hardly walk without pain...then Happy Hips came along. He loves his "treats" and eats several daily. It has changed his life. He is 12 y/o and now seems to act several years younger. He walks well and is therefore, more energetic. I love this stuff and what it has done for him. From now on, this is his daily treat and keeps him feeling better. I highly recommend this product for hip/joint pain for your dog...you will see the difference it makes. I'm tempted to take it myself...lol.

My old dog -- almost 16 and missing a few teeth -- loves this product. Good enough for me. That it has hip and Joint support is a bonus. Anything to make her happy in her last years.

My picky dog actually loves these. She doesn't even know that there's good stuff in there for her hips. She seems to be jumping around better since I've been giving her these. She gets sick from so many products but not this one, thumbs up, Highly recommend to any dog parent who has an older picky spoiled dog.
