DAYUAN YT1085 23pcs FWD Front Wheel Drive Bearing Removal Tool, Wheel Bearing Press Kit Bearing Adapters Bearing Installer Tool

I needed this to remove rear wheel bearings on a 1989 Porsche 944. There is a good selection of discs to fit the bearing size. There were no instructions but it is pretty self explanatory what you have to do. I read another review that suggested using a thrust bearing washer on screw end where you tighten - that made sense and I bought a couple of 10mm washers even though you only need one. I applied some heat beforehand and used the tool with an impact drill (a ratchet will work), and the bearings popped out. Will definitely use this again but the for the price, it was invaluable to get it done quickly and without any damage.

Great bit of kit for wheel bearings, done my fiesta front bearings with ease, saved me taking the hubs to someone to press out, definitely worth having in the garage

Easily remove and replaced Nissan xtrail wheel bearing which are heavy duty. Only gave 4 star as the catches on the box are weak and broke second time opening. Holder box strong just need to upgrade the clips that keep it closed.

We have successfully used this press many times and have found it to be the easiest way to do wheel bearings in situ.Of course a shop hydraulic press will be way better however this is a much cheaper alternative if you don’t have the money or need for anything like thatMust say it does require some strength but you’ll figure that one out. Can’t go wrong

Although this tool is easy to use, I do find it lacks a bit in quality and functionality, it could not get the wheel bearing out of my civic even with a pneumatic impact on the end of it. Granted they were really in there solid, as you'd expect for a 2008 car in the UK.I've kept the tool as despite it not working for me in this instance, it may work in the future if it's not so stuck, although I think I'll be in the market for a 20 ton press in future.The main benefit I could see with this is due to its small size, it could be handy for mobile mechanics, at the risk of getting stuck if the bearing is in too solid.

Have now used this to remove and fit two wheel bearings, it is not showing any signs of failure any time soon, I expect it to last as long as I need it. I made sure to keep the bolt thread well oiled while using.
