Works great to prevent slipping.
I love Vibram soles, because the product is very durable and slip resistant. So many women's heels have slippery soles, and these are perfect for this problem. I glued them on with professional strength shoe adhesive. These do not have any glue/adhesive pre-approved. The extra step is well worth it though. The color of these are perfect for shoes with red bottoms. If you don't mind, they can be used on other colors, as it is not so noticable when you trim the excess off. When walking, it is not seen anyway. I had seen Vibram in other colors, but hard to find pre cut half soles for women's heels. These are a good price in comparison to other non slip soles. I have purchased lesser priced versions that have adhesives, and those tend to be temporary and fall off. The other types are less quality too. The Vibram soles are very strong and lasts longer. They do not wear down easily, so over the long run, are a good value. You can find many YouTube videos on how to properly add half soles to shoes. Just make sure you give yourself enough time to allow these to cure and dry. I do not recommend expecting these to be a quick solution to add at the last minute before an event. You will not have your shoes ready if you expect these to be a rush application. These are professional quality, and as said before require the right adhesive and drying time. You will not be disappointed if you followed the how to instructions on videos. Also, make sure you have the tools before trying to apply these, because once glued, can damage the product if you have to take off and proposition or flatten the surface . If you don't feel confident with applying yourself, bring them to a cobbler to apply.

Great product. It’s all in the name, Vibram.
I bought my fiancé a pair of 100 mm Hot Chick Black-Red patent leather pumps & didn’t want her to slip & slide all over the place, so I bought these soles. Vibram is an extremely good product. Must take the soles & shoes to a cobbler shop. The red isn’t an exact match, but it’s good enough not to ruin the lacquered leather. If the cobbler knows what they are doing you won’t even notice the color unless the shoes are up in the air at the end of a night.

Not for first time users
These were much too big requiring trimming which was hard as a first timer.

Worked perfectly to add a street sole to my ballroom dance shoes-- I wanted to be able to wear them outside without ruining the fabric soles, and was able to glue these on with no trouble at all.

Not sticky sided
Product is as described. Material is good. But no one mentioned it wasn’t sticky on the other side! I’ve waited for these to come in to be able to wear them for my event and now I’m about to ruin my new Loubs due to lack of description. If you’re looking for the sticky sided ones like I was. Don’t buy this

Great sole protection
Thick and built to last. My shoe repair man had no trouble adhering the vibram soles to the bottom of my Louboutin pumps.

Good, not the best.
I'm a professional cobbler and we have worked with these in the past. Why in the past, you may ask? Because the color does not match like others available at select high end cobblers. These are thin and they are supposed to be used to extend the life of your lightly worn shoes and keep the red color on the sole and not to patch up shoes.Keep in mind it is highly recommended to not install these soles on your shoes on your own but have a professional install them for you.To install:pre-work. You may want to tape off your shoes with blue painters tape before you do anthing to not ruin your uppers.1. line up this half sole to your shoe sole and mark were you are going to place it and line up to make sure the pair are going to be identical2. rough up and/or sand both the shoe sole (yes, you have to remove the red paint on the shoe sole) and the half sole where you are going to put on the contact cement3. use only barge contact cement or anything stronger like renia kelbfest as the adhesive, shoe goo will not work and it will separate in just a couple wears4. apply contact cement and let dry about 15-30min (depending on directions of the cement) until tacky then apply half soles to shoe soles5. once half soles are applied, let dry at least 12 hours6. trim with heavy duty scissors or x-acto knife7. finish edge with 150 gt sandpaper, then 220 gt to make a nice edgeThese are probably the easiest job we do, but someone without the right tools will have a hard time getting it right.

Very upset that the picture showed the glue and paint ...
Very upset that the picture showed the glue and paint with it that's the only reason I bought this one vs the vibram soles that were alone in seperate posts. Now I see in the details that the glue and paint isn't included but you shouldn't post pictures with the paint and glue if it's not included imo...
