Smart Sleek Design with High Quality
I recently upgraded my home cinema set up with a new 55 inch OLED TV, an Onkyo Multi Deck CD player and a Onkyo TX NR 686 AV Receiver. While watching a DVD, it occurred to me that I should also replace my aging Toshiba DVD player. Having enjoyed good experience with Onkyo equipment I felt confident that the BD SP 353 Blu Ray player would not be a disappointment. I was right. This Onkyo is a wonderful BD player with it's sleek and stylish design, sophisticated smart (Multi Region) play technology which instantly recognises and plays any disc I choose to try. The multi channel 7.1 audio is crisp and clear whilst the picture quality is close to 4K even with a normal Blu Ray disc. DVDs are instantly upscaled to 1080p with a far better picture quality than that achieved by my old (upscaling) Toshiba DVD player. Set up was so easy (virtually Plug n' Play) with a choice of connection options for either analogue, HDMI and Optical output. This is a very high quality mid range BD player and as with all my Onkyo HIFI AV equipment offers fantastic quality with exceptional value for money. Five Stars.

Great & Easy
Pros On opening the box this Onkyo player was well packed, setting up this unit is so easy, just connect all your cables and follow the info on screen, it is that easy. Works well with all regions that I have tried. Con's The Down side is that the DVD that comes with the player IS NOT the MOVIE, as stated it's a bonus Disc Only.

Excellent value
Truly, I love this machine. I made a mistake when purchasing it, because I thought the Blu-Ray was multi region, not just the DVD player. However, once experiencing the playback, boy, there was no way I was going to send this machine back. For the price and its quality, this player is well worth the money.
